TheKido Posted November 5, 2013 Share Posted November 5, 2013 Hi! I'm not entirely sure but I believe the original sterling barrel was 38 mm in outer diameter. Personally thought I use 42 mm mainly because it's the easiest to find (I know many people who's done the same) but also since no one will ever notice. The templates I used were created by TK Bondservnt over at fisd and it fits the 42 mm pipe without size adjusting (here are the links http://www.metalvideotube.com/starwars/BarrelFore.jpg (front part) http://www.metalvideotube.com/starwars/BarrelAft.jpg (rear part)). TheKido Posted November 6, 2013 Share Posted November 6, 2013 I actually used the DVH kit which is more accurate but more expensive than doopys (I probably would have gotten the doopys if I wouldn't have gotten the DVH kit secondhand for a reasonable price).
