  1. He did What he wanted to do in the re-makes and whatever criticism came hie way was his making... would Spielberg re-make ET with a flight of AH64's showing up and ripping up the spaceship? Would he remake JAws with the shark saved at the 11th hour by Greenpeace Eco-warriors? Would The 300 be better with a Samba beach party ending? but ole uncle George...He has always done things his way... god bless him for it, his movies , he can do what he like... Me? I have the original cut remastered editions of the six movies on DVD and no interest in any of the remakes. Id be amazed if there wasn't a next installment of clone wars... merchandising income on that project alone would Fuel his whole filmmaking budget for the next decade... season 1-3 toy sales....that where the redtails money came from. Its not a feature film but an animation thus he hasn't said no to it. Ep 7 was never going to happen... , the cast are too darn old now. so no hope for it...unless it was a jump to the pre legacy era. The TV adaptation might still happen.
  2. will try to get some pics taken sis! and thanks for the thumbs up The trimming of the thigh is driving me nuts... FX died out for a darn good reason.
  3. I had real "Rotation" issues with my Ep II white job... I used foam rubber matting cut to shape and set inside the armor at the front and back, twin strapping down inner and outer sides and a 360 % foam rubber "collar" around the base of the thigh just inside the round-down lip. A lot depends on how much room you have inside the armor and how its cut to fit you, play with it and see what works for you.
  4. Belt trimming underway, as is some revised strapping on the arm armor to reduce rotation issues... more weathering required as well to blend all part together. Its a work in progress... thus far im happy with it! just getting those Almost but not-quite there blues! I have a week to tie it all together...our garrison GML is just down the road and we are blitzing this sucker to get it up en running... then a relay for life event to give it a test drive on saturday night !
  5. setting a tough goal is one sure way to get more focus and motivate yourself to go that extra mile. Im sure you will rock this build old chap... very best of luck!
  6. !st time in the sandy suit... need to do a little work on the calfs , reseating the strapping and completing the weathering. any pointers?
  7. Rofl! dude, Im the western most trooper in Tyranus Garrison Virginia! Only our GML Paul lives out my way... and he is 45 mins drive EASTWARD! By my humble guess-t-mation you are about 6.5 hours away! Anyway... I take it your Tyranus's Edd?
  8. Ok, pictorial progress report time. What you see is a fully body strapped TK... it will not be a sandy untill I complete the Abb plate mod and replace the sniper knee with a diamond! Helmet painting is about 50% complete, armor weathering about 10%!!! Armor is vintage FX (At 6ft 4" Tall its just about the Only TK suit that can be stretched out to cover my frame!), bucket is a new EFX, T21 from the woodchuck ... and I have a completed "move-Along" backpack waiting to be weathered a little bit more. The weathering and abb mod will keep me busy for a week or so while I wait for a Diamond to cross the Pacific care of MEPD's very own "Gordonator"
  9. Yo Sis! Very cool build so far, this has been a master class in modding and weathering. My own build is reaping the benefits at the moment and ought to be complete soon. Thus, thanks for sharing all your work with us, your garrison is going to have one kit-butt sandy in the ranks real soon. Keep up the good work!!!!!
