Juliusthegreat
Hi I have made my own sniperplate and now I have some difficulty finding the right position for it. Anyone that has a good picture with measure I would be very greatful. I have AP armour if it´s another measure on those.
troopermaster
I think the side points of the diamond in line with the top of the shin armour is about right.

When I see that picture it´s all getting clear in my head . Do you also (or someone else) if the strip on the calf goes even under the sniper plate or should it be cut where the tip of the diamond begins? troopermaster
The joinig strips go the full length of the calf. The knee plate is just a stick on decorative piece where the joining strips are functional, keeping the armour parts together.

Peter
Sorry to dig up a old post but I had a question about the sniper knee plate.. What is the best way to attach the plate? Riveting? E6000? Velcro? I could see how the velcro could come off, E6000 is a no brainer, but how the heck do you rivet the sniper plate without putting a hole into the front of it? troopermaster
Simply glue it in place. No need for ugly rivets
