TD-5766
This is a little overdue but I wanted to share with my MEPD brothers & sisters some pictures from the event. Here is our table and Albin brought R2-KT as well. Ablin getting arrested for "Jail & Bail". We raised over $300 for MAW. We had a full escort for Anthony from his guest table to his panels. Here is me (on left) and Andy Cobb our CO on the right. Later in the day we took some Garrison group pictures. Me just patrolling the Con. Later that night we took Anthony out to dinner to enjoy some "Carolina BBQ". We also presented him with a "Carolina Care Package" it had all kinds of little goodies. TD-5766
Me, Anthony and my wife. Albin, Me and Anthony. It was about 1am and we stayed up late while Anthony told us some great stories.(not a great picture of us) To the lower right corner is Hubert our "Legion Captain of the Guard". He and Julie came to visit the Garrison. I took Anthony back to the Airport the following day and he said he loved the "Carolinas" and would love to come back again. I really hope he can make it next year. So y'all plan to come "Ya hear?"

TD-5766
I was pretty fortunate. Albin and I grew up pretty close to each other distance wise. We actually only live about an hour from each other now. I try to help him out with various events near where he lives when I can. My wife and I would love to visit France one of these days. Speaking of Burgers. I wanted to take Anthony to "Penguins" here in Charlotte but unfortunately we ran out of time. This is now a well known Burger joint because it was featured on the "Food Network" with Guy Fieri (the dude with the spiked white hair and goatie). They also have the best fried pickles. So if any of you guys make it here stop by "Penguins". http://cityguide.aol.com/charlotte/restaur...in/v-109776721/
