hpdblues
Hi gang, Silly question, but ask I must... Is our MG-15 known by another name? My beloved MG-34 is a DLT-19. Our heavy-duty Lewis Gun is a T-21. What about our newest S/F baby? T
Doomgiver
I´m pretty sure that the MG-15 has no nickname in the Star Wars universe. It´s only known as MG-15.
Billhag
That's what I thought as well, but then TK6237 over on the FISD mentioned that its been given the designate of RT-97C. Which made me remember that I read something about it somewhere http://forum.mepd.net/index.php?showtopic=4434&hl ....a rose by any other name is still a rose...... kenthork
It is indeed that. look at this http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/RT-97C_heavy_blaster_rifle

I was sure I first learned about the MG-15 getting a SW designation on the MEPD, but couldn´t find the thread. Anybody else notice how hard it is to find a comfortable way of carrying this beaut? Not hard to figure the MG-15 was never designed to be fired from the hip...And the number and placement of the scopes doesn´t make it any easier. Still, it´s one of my absolute favorite blasters - that thing looks mean!
hpdblues
SWEET!!! Thank you all for the information/background... I'll leave the MG-15 for the troopers of WWII. Say hello to my little friend, RT-97C!!!! T
