Imabarroomhero
Hey, I posted these a while ago but they were kind of in the wrong topic, just wanted you guys to check and see what you think. Our garrison has had quite a long break since our last troop so I havent had time to make a lot of adjustments, I'm going to do some work on my backpack in the next few days and I'll try to get pics up of that and see what you guys think. http://www.centralgarrison.org/album_pic.php?pic_id=8365 http://www.centralgarrison.org/album_pic.php?pic_id=8362 http://www.centralgarrison.org/album_pic.php?pic_id=8361 I know that currently I'm no way eligible for MEPD with my bucket and holster and a few other things, but I'm still in the process of upgrading, just wanted to see what you guys thought so far. iconoclasta_88
Hey there Bro... It looks that you are half way there... A few things I would do: Get rid off the holster, ribbed shoulder straps and imperial logo on pauldron. Get more accurate boots. Get an ANH helmet. Get a BFG. Maybe try to age your pouches, so they dont appear so stiff. The backpack does not appear much but I guess you already figured out how to improve it. Other than that I see you've got already the sniper plate and ab plate. The weathering looks cool to me. Im more a less is more guy but yours looks cool specially with the higher pieces getting less weathering effect. looking good so far... Hope it helps... Imabarroomhero
Thanks man, yeah definately appreciate the input, yeah still got a ton of work to do, I'm probably gonna grab a MR bucket and mod it to ****. T-21 is coming after taxes (girlfriend pending). My most major concern right now is my backpack, it's basically the exact TK-409 do it yourself build, but I'm nigh too happy with it. My buddy has a radio box he said he'd sell me so that's covered, but I'm having a crazy time trying to find any pipes that look right in the lower right hand corner, also having issues getting a decent looking burger stacker (currently using industrial plunger), can't find toilet floater anywhere and same thing goes with the electric taped box at upper left hand corner....killin' me. Over here in the detachment there are some ppl making really good kits for backpacks... just check out the for sale or the project order sections. I got mine from Crashman and it is just great. Other than that, I made my first attempt on a hamburger stacker from scratch... It can be done with a 100mm pvc tube, some other pvc pipes, some rubber bands or similar and other stuff easily found at the home depot or lowes... Check other threads on ppl making their own form scratch backpacks or just get a kit. Either way hope it goes great. http://forum.mepd.net/index.php?showtopic=...amp;#entry59934 Good luck! Saludos...
