Rolf
Hi there. I got 2 ww2 spanish hip pouches. Its the one seen in ANH. But i got it in 2 sizes, and i´m not 100% which one we see in ANH. Many of the sand troopers, was not so high. So it might look bigger, on others from trooper to trooper in ANH. Here you see them: Here the big one: And small one: Personal i think, its the smallest version they used. Cheers .
Rolf
Here it looks a bit like its the big one: But here more like the smaller version of the pouch: What do you think/know. Is it the big version we see in ANH, or the smaller version. Cheers .

Art Andrews
I would say it appears to match up fairly well with the smaller pouch. So, do you know what the pouch is or what it was used for?
Rolf
Thanks Art . I think so too. All i know, is that its a ww2 spanish pouch. I guess it a machine gun mag pouch, from there.

nice-biscuit
Probably the smaller but in this image it looks like a cross between the two sizes.
Rolf
Probably the smaller but in this image it looks like a cross between the two sizes. Copy that. But i guess, its also because he might be short. And he´s legs/armor parts, goes all the way up. So it might seems a bit longer/bigger. I also think, its the smallest version i got. I just like to be sure, before i might sell the bigger one .

In a way there are 3 different spanish versions. Here 1 and 2. And here # 3. All 3 are ww2 spanish version. And have the same lock/flap. # 2 and 3 seen in ANH. Cheers . Rolf
nice collection as always rolf.... i think maybe its camera trick ^_^ ,after i compare it to the belt, its similar indeed Copy. I looks like we all think its # 2, the smaller version. Also if you try, to hold it up to the 2 troops arms. You can see that is in the right size, and the bigger one will be too big. Also if you look at the Stolla Wien, you can see that the bigger one is almost as big as the Stolla pouch. And smaller one is not. So therefor it, must be the smaller version there have the right size and shape. I just think its hard to see, because the 2 troopers wearing it are so small. (all there armor parts, all most touch each other) Cheers .
