But I would go for a less is more approach..so maybe use a cloth or spongue to soften it up a bit, that is when you decide to go for that look. The colours used are great!! I would suggest you to try and piant it before more weathering comes, so it is weathered in a similar fashion than the rest of the helmet. Just a thought anyway.
