Scootch
Looks like I go meet with a fellow Garrison member who owns a clothing manufacturing business next week. I've got the patterns, we're squared away on material, and all we gotta do now is get the dollar ammount squared. Soon as that happens I'll post the $$ and We'll get the interest thread going and start getting some idea of what we're looking at for quantities and colors. Won't be much longer troops. Scootch
Hello troopers. I made progress on the pauldron project Saturday with the tailors. (Say that six times really fast). They say they will make a couple this week and see what their cost will be. We should know by the end of this week for sure. If the price is right we plan to begin with 25 orange, 25 white, and 10 black while the orders are being taken and the interest thread gets underway. This way we can get things moving and when we need to make more there shouldn't be a significant down time. I'm pretty stoked, it looks like these folks can handle a big job so a pauldron run should be cake.

Scootch
PH/12007 Black Pauldron.......got it. And here's a peek at the White sample pauldron which was turned out today! I should point out the neck piece on future pauldrons will be attached like the RH pauldrons and not on the seam like the one pictured. Hope it meets approval friends. Rolf
FANTASTISC!!!! job well done bro, A+ work. Your tailor, have done a better tailor job them mine i think. There are only two things to be add, as i see it. 1. The neck, needs to me metal dots longer in (as you have all ready said bro). 2. Is more tricky, but the 5 black areas might need to go longer down on the pauldron (and therefore give a bit more room for the 5 areas too). (remember to add foam in the rank area too, about half the mm as in the 5 black areas. Also to sew, whit white in the sergeant rank area) Cheers bro. Once again, out standing pauldron. I´m in for all 3 ranks .

I´m in for all 3 ranks . Me again. Number 2 issue, can also be a personal touch. In ANH, the 5 black area. Seems to go down, some longer then others. Here you go: Not so long down. Longer down. And therefor some wider in the neck, then others. I like this one, in the 5 area sittings. A few more...

Rolf
Thanks. One more thing, there might gonna help. The two metal dot leather pieces, where the black velcro are sew to. Are add a bit too long in the sergeant rank area, and a bit too high up. That way the 5 black area, will look shorter then it really is. So just add the metal dots, a bit longer down. And if you can sew the 5 black area, just a few mm longer down you will make the best **** pauldron in the universe bro. (and add the neck longer in as well, like you say) Cheers . Here you see mine, they go just a few mm longer down (the 5 black areas, whit foam in).
TD1009
Looks like a fantastic start Scootch, thanks. I think Rolf is dead on, the black ribbed area needs to extend further down the shoulder, huge thanks to Rolf as I hadn't appreciated how far down it came until he pointed it out, hope that's an easy fix to the plan.
