Rolf Posted June 17, 2008 Share Posted June 17, 2008 Sorry about the title Any way, i got this 15 pounds UK standard made pauldron today. I must say, i like what i see. I have in mind to cut up the black area, and add some foam in the pauldron to thick it up a bit. But the sew/stitch look nice and fat, as they look in the black area. So i only cut off the neck part, and add it again whit metal dots ANH style. That way, you can also make it as it fit your neck size better. Here you go: Before. After. (the seller has a very bad feedback, and did not reply Dutchy and i at all. But when we report it to paypal/ebay, the item show up here. Hope you get yours soon too bro). I might make them a bit thicker too. But i think i will use foam. Cut in from behind like yours, or from the front and then sew it up again. Last time i modify one... I cut off the black area, to move it a bit longer down whit a new piece of black plastic leather. If you look at the ones in ANH, they go a bit longer down to the edge before the metal dot comes.
