Jreeveo
So I recently decided due to cost, that I would start a Helmet collection as apposed to starting more armour. Ordered a Lid from Paul and here is where I'm at so far. Jamie Out

Jreeveo
Having trouble with my 'rim' it keeps slipping because the cap and faceplate aren't 100% flush, anyone else had this issue, and any fixes for it?
Smally
By Rim do you mean the brow?
Jreeveo
that is indeed the word I was looking for
Smally
that is indeed the word I was looking for Haha, I thought that's what you meant. If there is a large gap between the cap and face plate then it sounds like it may have to be re-assembled. A small gap it fine, but not a large one as you have described. If its not noticeable when you hold the brow in place but the brow keeps slipping, you could just use a couple of drops of glue. Just a thought. Can you post a pic of the gap? Jreeveo
It was all constructed whilst being held with Magnets so not sure re-assembling would achieve anything, might try the glue approach
Smally
To be honest Jamie, that's not bad at all! I was expecting it a lot bigger than that (I hear that all the time from women!). I have a TE2 lid with a much bigger gap. Once I glued the brow in place it's only noticeable when you tilt the helmet back. You'll be fine to just put a drop of glue in between the brow and the cap. Make sure to use very small drops or the brow will 'dimple' where the glue is holding it.
