Archangel
Hey All, Just a quick intro for myself! Name is Sheldon aka "Archangel" Im here in Michigan starting my TD build. Got the ATA Kit and stoked to get started! I have been trooping for the past nine years and finally decided to go "Dirty" Trooping with the Great Lakes Garrison and looking forward to becoming a member with MEPD, God Willing! Any recommendations where to start with this build? My thoughts were to start on non strapped elements such as the gauntlets, calves... PatrickW1074
Awesome!!! Since you are familiar with building from your previous Trooping experience, you know the wise advice of go slow and have lots of fun getting dirty. I am nearing the end of my build. I just need to build MG-15, get pack from Dirty Boy and dirty up my armor. Please post pics if possible. Have fun!!!!!
Archangel
As I finish pieces I will certainly post pics! Slow and steady is most certainly the way for doing this build! My hope is to have the build done by C6. If not well I suppose that is ok. Would like to have my first troop at C6 but I will have to wait and see how the build goes. Got a pack on order from dirty boy and the pauldron on order from Trooper1.
Archangel
I finished my helmet this weekend minus the screen that needs to be put in. Obviously no weathering yet but it is awesome to have one piece more or less done
Archangel
Pictures of the completed helmet. After the pics were taken I did paint the brass screws. I welcome all feedback! This is an ATA Helmet. My first helmet I ever put together. Thanks to Panda Trooper for the Tutorial!

Archangel
Possibly a dumb question...is it absolutely required to attach the arm gauntlets to the bicep pieces with straps. My previous TK build I just added foam pieces to the inside of the forearm. Is this a MEPD requirement? Sorry for the dumb question.
inglorious trooper
i dont think its required, too be honest i did the same as you with my first build an never had any problems with them slipping about,i think its just a personal thing!! Archangel
Thanks! I just didnt see the reason for it as I have never had a problem with mine either. I will however if this is a requirement.
