  1. That's it I'm going to roll up some porn and put in it when I get home, just in case someone asks me to prove it.
  2. sorry I didn't take any pictures that would really show what I did as far as cutting down the top of the thigh piece, and an after picture you wouldn't really be able to tell what I did without an original sitting next to it for comparison. I'll snap some pics of the back knee area so you can see the trimming that was done there.
  3. Yea I was going to do that tonight but figured why put work into this ab plate when I'm going to be making a new one. Maybe even before the next event.
  4. Light, I used abs and abs cement to do my pack and it worked out nice. The wole thing is only about 6lbs.
  5. I took the plunge and actually trimmed almost 2 inches off the top of mine to make them shorter, and fit better. I also trimmed up the back knee part in order to make walking a little better, do that more on the calf piece though.
  6. I've noticed, now that I've goot a good backpack, that the design in the back piece pushes the backpack out away form my back by a quite a bit. I'm thinking of modifing a mold to not have that part and only have a flat back piece in order for the back pack to sit flush with my back. Looking at the movie caps I can't tell if it would be cannon one way or the other. there is no direct side shots but all the slightly angled side shots make it look like thier backpacks are flush. What's eveyone else think? and would anyone be interested in them if I pulled them?
  7. one orange for ever seven enlisted? in the mos eisley droid inspection sceen there were two of each color. or at least two orange and two black, one clearly white and in my desktop image I can't see the other one but I think it's white.
  8. Ok, Here is a nice front shot. And a good side shot to show off my new back pack. Kevin where is our new ANH helmets? This one really shows how large the FX helmet is. It's not all work when your a Sandtrooper And at the end of the day it's time to kick back with a beer and watch the tube. [/img]
  9. Well, I'm going to suit up and post pictures for my active member application. I have everything cept the ab plate done. I'll post pics in a reply to this in about an hour.
  10. While I did build it from scratch it isn't off the shelf parts. I built the molds form MDF and pulled them on my home built vacuum table.
  11. Ok it was a little more than that but here are some pics I hinged the radio and put a magnetic cabnet clasp in it so I would have a small storage compartment in the bottom box. This worked really well. I tried to get it as cannon as I could according to the "these aren't the droids were looking for" trooper. like this rotated to be like the second picture above:
