Can you perhaps explain what MEPD Liasion (ML) and Intelligence Officer: is?
-
Thanks for the tips

My current exhaust is one of these ones printed by a friend of mine...
While it's not terrible, I have seen pics of other people's packs that look much better. The pipe section is a bit chunkier and also curved rather than straight...
Does anyone have 3d files for this? Failing that, does anyone sell them?
Thanks as always for you assistance

Hi,
I've now got my pack "finished" and approved but I'm not happy with it. My self-built frame is both heavy and not totally accurate so I've decided to replace a bunch of pieces.
First up is my new frame. I bought a Tote-em frame on Ebay and now I think I need to alter it a bit...
http://www.walkersontheweb.se/wp-content/shared/mepd/pack-frame.jpg
I have a few questions:
1. If I have read other threads right, I need to first chop off the top part of the frame. Am I right in thinking that I cut it about 1 inch above the middle bar?
2. After cutting, what then becomes the top bar stays on but the lower one is removed and I then add flat pieces for mounting the seed trays to, right?
Thanks for any assistance

One size medium shirt for me, please

Great, thanks

PS Sorry about the crappy photos but the attachment restrictions here are pretty tough

Hi folks,
I'm almost finished with my backpack now but I'd appreciate some input on my radar dish.
Most seem to have just a flat plate behind the Tupperware lid but the guy who supplied mine gave me this rather funky looking thing...
(Yes, I know the tube caps are missing bu I want everything "approved" before I glue anything together )
I guess it is based on this screenshot that I got from my GML...
So, the simple question is, is mine approvable as is? And will it work for Police Officer? I'm not going for SWAT.
Thx

Take my Imperial credits. I'd only spend them in the Mos Eisley cantina otherwise...

Great, thank you.

So phone cable rather than the half-moon shape and paint it black. is that right?
Thx for the replies

Is the T-21 supposed to be painted all black or should there be other colours? If so, where and what? I’ve seen lots of variants but no clear guide. The one on the crllooks all black with wooden stock and grip.
Also, the crl says ”Sight shall be present on top where ribbing meets base” but no info on what it should look like...
Thx

Great, then it's just crappy lighting One less thing to worry about. I'll get to the other stuff over the next week and post updates here.
Thanks for the help so far.

Hi mate,
your pack looks great already.
After speaking to my fellow deployment officer bigwam, we would suggest changing or modifying the following parts:
While the colour looks a little too bluish than greyish, it should be okay, this always depends on lighting but the gloss finish isn't right, so give the trays, bottles and canteen a satin matte clearcoat and you are good to go.
We have so many great pics and heaps of information on the Sonix radio now that you should definitely add a pleather suround, the sockets and antenna and the feet to your radio to make it screen accurate.
It's absolutely okay to have a pvc frame with visible joints but in your case it sticks out too much. If possible, try to sand down those ridges on the bottom part of your frame, they should be less visible.
I hope this doesn't put you down, you have already done an amazing job with your pack. Keep up the good work!
Thanks. All in all, nothing I was not expecting but l do have a few comments/questions:
1. The grey colour: I used RAL 7031 which is what I was told was correct. Do you have a better colour suggestion? It's such an easy thing to fix so I don't mind doing it If that's the right code then it's probably just bad lightning like you said.
2. Can you just spray over the paint with the satin matte clearcoat?
3. Already got leather etc for the radio surround, just waiting for the wife to get her sewing machine out. I've got the socket parts too but they need the surround first.
4. I've actually made it in metal tubing cos I couldn't find any decent corner parts in plastic. I'll look into what I can do to make them stand out less.
Thanks for the feedback, you haven't put me down at all It's only the joint parts that might be hard...

Hi folks,
I've almost finished making my pack. I need to add the mortar tube and the tube on the other side but, before I start permanently attaching things, I'd love to get some feedback from all of you. I'm not going for SWAT but would like to get Police Officer. Is there anything I would need to change?

Perfect, thanks
