  1. Hey Tom,

I posted on your UK WIP earlier today but just for clarification here, the Sniper pad needs to be lowered such that the two extreme corners of the hexagon is in alignment with the sloping edge of the shin armour behind it. This is based on the two attached screen grab images from the original 1977 movie. I've also added a rough hand sketch of the alignment as it would look if viewed from the front face of the sniper pad. The red ink lines is where it should be aligned to while the black ink lines is where you currently have it positioned. Hope this helps.

Hey Szen, nice to see your application here! A great build, awesome work on the pack... I'm pretty sure you're glad that you survived the sewing on your faux-leather radio suround ;)

Should be a walk in the park, good luck!

    Thanks mate!

Yeah... those two days of hand-stitching the radio surround was definitely an interesting experience, but that's another new sewing technique I've picked up now!!! :D

  3. Hey all,

I'm Szen and this is my first post here.  I'm that close now to sorting out my backpack to complete my Sandie clearance with the UKG before officially applying for MEPD deployment.  But in the meantime, I thought I'd share with my T-21 which I built over the course of the last two months using Pandatrooper's template.  What do you guys think?

These are pics of the initial completed build:

And these are the latest as of this weekend after i added the final bits of greeblies  to replicate the Hanger Bay Sandie's T-21:

  4. Hey all,

A new Trooper here. I'm Szen, from London UK.

Just been informed that my RS Sandie build will be delivered to me for Friday (in 48hrs)... It's been an anxious 9 week wait!

Once I get it, it'll be a rush job to get everything ready (including finishing my two T-21 builds for me and my son) for a special charity troop at my late daughter's hospital on May The Fourth. Talk about cutting it close!

After that, I'll be getting myself properly cleared with the UKG before I start on the serious weathering task to get a shot at the MEPD. Wish me luck!
