  1. Repairs and partial weathering complete. Well after many days and hours of nearly crying in a fetal position after my horrendous and tragic accident, I have finally completed my repairs.

I added abs plastic reinforcement strips and longer screws as well. But needless to say on this day victory is mine my friends.b422f3efd1f92d84f08ef8f201a7ec5b.jpgfdbe4d743e256215184d2750e2a2541b.jpgeb5ceba31aa0906c799ee795828318e2.jpg9c907c577f12e6d0b4a89fcdc6713006.jpg

  2. So today I finished assembling my back and chest armor, meaning I would not have to dissable or anything again and I decided to use thread lock on the nuts on the brackets.....

Not a good idea..... The thread lock attacked and cracked and blew out the holes I drilled for my brackets. Now I must spend countless hours repairing, sanding and redrilling holes to repair my armor. The point is, if you use one of these bracketing systems for your armor, use super glue on the nuts instead of thread lock or lock tight.

Hope this helps someone avoid the same mistake and problem as mine.f5fbb2be07183ae52cfda5aa62c0a88e.jpg9130ed2d2c336059d87f8300186e3ec1.jpg20d25465340388620019ef1c36e766d1.jpge83190c7babb44e63a6f2a3348fb592a.jpg04fbcab008dd1eadf2be7bc1231b50ca.jpgadf152718e0436ca3c4280b43482ab52.jpg8a4bd118ae1f0899502cc3533b19bd49.jpgd2c4a59becebc78d4a9d3aecedce74c1.jpgcddf679caf0134c63cfad68b6f4a11a5.jpg4812d273cecdad843f8517f5a581dc91.jpg5c0adbba472ee29553485db56d8911ea.jpg7cf8f32ca42bd62fd5163eadeff449f5.jpg68750f4a4934e368cd6c3a7eb5aad633.jpg25c4e4605450989814898c0bad490e58.jpg

  3. This is the helmet so far. Still need to outline the traps and tears black and add my tube stripes. Other than that, just need to add my fans and battery pack.

Also have all of my armor assembled and just need to do some final trimming and strapping.

Then the best part which is finishing my pack and weathering my armor.

  4. As many of you may already know, Walt (Walt's Trooper Factory) is going to be auctioning off a full Sandtrooper Ensemble.  This includes a pack.  Crookknight's Imperial Trooper Packs will be donating a pack to this great cause.  I will also be building my very own pack at the same time.  I am doing this thread so newcomer's can see one way the packs are built (as there are many) with today's technology.  I will be using parts from different vendors for this build (I will mention them shortly) and also 3D printed parts.

    STAY TUNED.

    Looking forward to it.
