  1. I modeled it and can post it here. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I like the weathering. Did you use the same stuff as the rest of your pack? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Hey man. I am getting ready to order some canteens from Vince. I will send you one.
  4. Looking great Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I like the reinforcements you have done. I may use some of your ideas. Keep up the good work. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. You can use a matte clear coat to get rid of the shine. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. I would not recommend painting over the gray. I will post here but be done to flatten it. Something can be sprayed over it. To make it look older. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I use both. It is up to you. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I like the addition of the rivets on the corners of the frame. The gray paint I used on the lower box is the RAL 730 and only comes in a gloss. The seed trays come in there raw form and do need to be trimmed with rounded corners. Thanks for posting this thread. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Where did you get the capacitors (shotgun shells). I have been looking for those to use on my packs.
  11. Congrats on another year, sir. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  13. Looks awesome Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. I am trying to create a more accurate exhaust port for the Sandtrooper Backpack. What does MEPD consider to be the most accurate version in which I can see visually and pull measurements from? Thank you for your assistance.
  15. Very well done. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. I have pictures and instructions I will post shortly. It is the zip tie method. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Sorry the pack got a little beat up during shipment. I appreciate the feedback on the pack. I did just start making the mortar tube a little shorter. Is there really some sort of disc on top of the lab pipe? I am starting to get a constant shipment of actual canteens from Vincent that I am using on the packs. It just takes a while for them to be shipped to me. As for the end caps I am finally getting around to making a mold so I can vacform them from ABS . Your armor looks great. I have almost finished mine. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. The bucket I show in the previous picture is not the one I will be using. I just put it on there until I finish the correct one. In regards to the cover strip on the left thigh, I have fixed it (i think) and the picture is below. I am currently adding the side shims since I am not 165 lbs....more like 185 lbs. Once I add the ABS paste and smooth out, I will post pictures for comments. Want to make sure it looks right. Corrected left thigh cover strip.
  19. Badass pictures. You will have to hook me up when I finally finish my build. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. I am having to add 1" shims on each side of the backplate in order to close the gap on the sides. This week, I will use acetone in order to make the ABS paste and add the shims. Goal is to make it seamless. On another note, what is the best method to add the weathering to the armor? I have not researched this yet.
  21. Here is a quick photo of the armor on one of my mannequins. I am almost to the point where I will take photos of each piece.
  22. Thanks for the heads up on the pictures. I am going to post new ones.
  23. I have made a lot of progress and will be posting pictures soon. I have been building so many packs that I have not had much time. One quick question though, what is the best way to attach the shoulder ammo pouch to the shoulder? (attach it to the strap of the backpack, or to the orange pauldron). Any ideas would be very helpful. Thank you.
