Thank you all for all your tips and advice! And thank you Charlie for that canteen kit and speedy radio delivery. You do great work!
It's been a grand journey and with hopes of swat future, it's far from over.. karrimor totem packs are not easy to find!..lol.
Thanks again all, hope to run into some off you at troops and events.
Jon , TD84414 officer..
Looks great to read..

Rebuilt filter... radio is on its way.
Build pic, old vs new pic, placement pic.
The old one was 3" expanded pvc with 3/8" - .9mm dowles. And the new one is 3" water line ( which in 1/4" less total diameter than pvc) and 5/16" - .6mm dowles.
I definitely think it's looks better, Thanks for the advice!

OK , I have a couple days off work so I'll do a filter rebuild.
Thanks for the heads up Felix.

Thanks!
I found a thread with those dimensions, so that will be the next project. Haha ..there seems to always be a next project..

Thanks Felix
Used this screen shot as reference. I tried to match the levels of each piece, starting with the bottom of the Tupperware. Then Cut down filter , and re-position on seed tray. It's now 6 1/2" long, 4 3/8" total diameter. Does that look right?
I'll work/research up on a radio face build this next week.
Thank you for the insight.

Hello all.
I would like to have my fieldpack #5 as film accurate as possible so it can be swat approved when that time comes. But most of the pics I can find come up a bit short though when it comes to the bee stinger. I found one from the "look sir droids" site, and it appears the bee stinger is missing. So the question I have is.
For a swat level pack #5, should the stinger be removed?
Thanks
Jon.

Cheers Jonathan.

Yep, 10 mm in from the edge. The link airborne trooper sent is really really good! Ukswrath has done an absolutely stellar job with that thread. Very helpful for me while I built my anovos armor. Keep up the good work! Looking forward to seeing it done-n-dirty.

I've done some more work on the fieldpack. Shaped the canteen from foam, but do have a crashmans canteen kit on its way. As it stands though, is it Officer standards?
Thanks.

Thanks for the input everybody. Appreciate it. Took the mesh out. Baron- the strips are painted.
Been working on my pack, just waiting for the canteen kit to come. Plus add the two side inputs, and antenna on the radio, finish the weather, shoulder straps.. a few things.. haha. Here's some pics of it so far.
It's a Trooperbay kit with scratch built cistern, frame, and filter.
Did add some extra's to the filter. Couldn't see any film pics to show the top or bottom, so hoping there OK...
Again any and input would be great. Thanks!
