    Another update...

    The buyer apparently backed out of buying the equipment so no check on the way. So he's out of chances with me. I've called the credit card company and asked to be credited for merchandise never delivered. So they opened a dispute case and will credit my card once the dispute is settled. They said it usually happens quickly but may take up to 6-8 weeks. Just want to be up front with everyone to let you know what's going on. Let's hope for the "quick" version. There shouldn't be anything for them to "dispute". I'll update as soon as I know anything else.

    Wanted to give everyone an update as to the status of the refund etc. I've been going back and forth this week trying to facilitate the refund from the jersey company. Talked with them today and was told someone was coming in tomorrow (Saturday) to purchase the equipment they have in the shop. Then on Monday the owner is going to cut me a check and send it FedEx to me. Hopefully it plays out as promised and early next week I'll have the $$ in hand. Regardless I'll give you all an update early next week to let you know what's going on. Again I appreciate your patience and understanding. Everyone so far as been very positive and I thank you all for that. We'll get through this I promise. :duim:

    It'll need to get re-approved by the legion before another run attempt. If it would even get approved again right now with all the new merch rules. And that would mean holding on to everyone's money for A LOT longer. This way if we can do it again we'll start with a clean slate and everything is square from the beginning. It starts getting way to complicated if I start switching everything around midstream. So sorry for the hassle for you guys but it's just better to hit the reset button.

    Well this isn’t the update I had hoped to be giving at this point in the process.

    This is going to be a long update post so please bear with me. 

    I finally got in contact with the rep at the jersey company this weekend. I had been trying to get an update on our order for the last week or so. 

    In our talk he informed me that last week , without warning, the owner decided that he was going to close the shop. This was a shock to everyone working there including our rep who has been there for 21 years. 

    Our rep asked him what he planned to do about all the outstanding orders that people had on the books and were in process. Our was included in this group because as of two weeks ago our order was still "a go and in process."

    The owner responded “I can refund their money or come up with the money to finish them. It’s their call.” 

     

    Right now all our patches are done and ready to be paid for by the jersey company and shipped from Korea to the jersey company.

    The actual jerseys have not been made with our colors at the factory because they have not been paid for by the jersey company yet.

    That’s where our order stands.

     

    In talking over the situation with MEPD command staff we’ve come to the decision it would be in our best interest at this point to pull the plug on this order and get the money refunded. 

    The situation just seems too volatile to trust the outcome will be positive.

    So that being said I’m talking with them later today to arrange getting the money refunded. Hopefully that goes well.

    Regardless of that outcome everyone who paid will be getting their money refunded from me asap. Please give me a few days to try to work through this as I’ll need to be refunding over $3k.

     

    I honestly apologize this didn’t work out for all of us. I’m really bummed it went down this way after so much time and effort was put into it and the amount of time you’ve all been waiting to get this done.

    Hopefully once the dust clears and we find ourselves on solid ground again we can try to make this happen again with better results.

    Any questions please don’t hesitate to PM me. I plan on reaching out to everyone who ordered on PM as soon as I can to let everyone know as well since I know some don’t check the forum regularly.

    Query on sizing... what should a 6 foot tall standard body profile fella like me consider? I guess more specifically, what are the sleeve lengths like between the Large and X-Large as I'd hate to get the jersey with sleeves that are too short!

    I’m a standard size right a 6ft and I usually get a XL. I don’t see why it won’t work for you. The sleeves should be plenty long.

    I was just talking with the jersey company and I wanted to let everyone to know that I worked it out to have it an option to get your name on the jerseys done in Aurebesh if you want.  :peace:

    I put the option on the order form for it.

    Those who already ordered if you want it done in Aurebesh just send me a PM and I'll get it switched over.

    It says sizing is in inches. So I would measure around your chest and use that as a guide. For example my chest is 42 inches and I can comfortably fit in a M size jersey. But I like to wear sweatshirts and stuff under it so I go with a L for a little extra room. Also pay attention to the length measurement there too. Hope this helps.
