The maker of your original kit as well. That can help the group point you to a maker that uses similar lineage for their kits.

You can always put a piece of foam in the thigh armor behind the left knee. That will pull the front of the thigh closer to your leg. Pics will help, but that might solve your issue.

Hi everyone!
Greetings from just outside New York City! I've finally got my armor on the way, and I thought I would start out building a Sandtrooper, one of my favourite troopers from the original trilogy. I think I'll be starting off with the Roadblock version 2 Captain as I'm not so certain about the backpack build yet, but all things in time!
I started off painting boots and getting the neck seal underway while I wait for the majestic box to arrive - can't wait to get started! Now to get on the hunt for a pauldron...

To keep paint from rubbing off you can clear coat it. I would personally use a mix of gloss and dull coat to get a semi gloss cover, but the vets here can give much better advice as to what sealant to use.

Khazid here. Just wrapping up my TK and am starting to research doing a TD for my second build. Looking forward to this one, especially with one bud almost under my belt.

If we could identify the variant used for the application easier to figure out, other than opening each thread and going "Nope, not the trooper I was looking for."; that would be a great upgrade. To clarify, I do not think it should be so simple as a "click me for trooper type x" search, but some way to perhaps do a filtered search by those that are SWAT deployed by the TD being emulated would be a good launching point for those of us researching a build.
