  1. Ok now I know this sounds like a hella lame question, but how many of you guys havethe MEPD patch on the pauldron? Is it ok to place on on the pauldron...and if so...where on the pauldron does it look best. I'd hate to be the only guy with a patch somewhere super lame.

  2. this may sound like a really lame question, but what parts make up the prod? I'd like to make one that was accurate, but I dont know the specs on it. Can one of you guys help me out? any info would be appreciated.

  3. well the original number that i wanted was TD0117 but that was taken, me and my girl are both born on january seventeenth. So I just went with what was available, to the disappointment of my girlfriend.

  4. I'll see ya out there....this dragoncon is my first trooping event. I really look forward to meeting my dirty brothers. I went straight for the dirty...none of that clean and prestine pansy stuff for me. I know who gets the work done in the empire.

  5. nice pack man. I dig the little dohickies that are on there. It goves it a sort of "help help...call in an airstrike!" kind of feel to it. Now go and dirty that "summabitch" up. Good work trooper!

  6. dang...you guys are the best. I appreciate the comments fellas. I have since added a mini hydration pack inside the lower box with a velcro latched trapdoor for easy removal. The extended drinking hose runs up along the left shoulder strap where it clips right near the ammo pouch. Since its a mini hydration pack (roughly a litre) its not that heavy. I walked around myneighborhood with it and its still light enough to not cause any stress on both the other parts and most importantly...my back.

  7. the two boxes on the left are the index card boxes. The details on the larger box are two 1/2 cup tupperware lids painted black. The lower canister was applied with hot glue on poth surfaces...then a liberal amount of glue was laid around the outside of the joint along the seam. Most of the places where I applied a lot of glue i intentionally added enough to dry in cobs outside the seam. These gobs were then painted in aluminum colored enamel. The finished result looks like a rough welding job. I went over some of the "exposed" parts with a rust color as well. What you dont see is on the opposite side of the top box are three led indictor lights wired to toggle switches and powered by 9 volts clipped to the inside of the box. I thought this gave the pack a more realistic mechanical feel.

  8. Hi fellas. I'm new to trooping but I am goin straight to the grime and grit. None of that prestine stuff for me. Soon to be a part of the georgia garrison. I cant wait to proudly display the MEPD patch on the pauldron with pride. Working on a nice MG34 as well. Lookin forward to troopin with y'all.

soon to be TD#### and you guys will be my brethren.
