  1. Hi everyone,

My names Warren and I'm from Gosport.

I've been a member of the forum for a while now and have been saving like mad to get a set of armour.

It arrived last week and I couldn't wait to get started, so far I've only built the bucket.139afe60939c9f54d9102c9ad5075dc0.jpg

But I'm in the process of trimming all the other parts.

With work and home life this may take a while but hopefully not too long, as I want to get clearence and start trooping.

Ive Wanted to be a Sandtrooper since 77, and finally my opportunity is here and within reach.

Just wanted to introduce myself to all my future brothers and sisters

  2. Hi Brothers,

I have tried to start a new post but God knows what happened to it.

Anyway I'm in the process of trying to build a T21 blaster, I've started with the usual cutting the shape out of wood, sticking the wood together and I've just finished shaping the stock.575326913cd53c99352afde142c448de.jpg6801b7f6b8d4aa4be7bd33951da1770a.jpg584008870c9128dad0a23cba1e4dbf4b.jpg

I don't think it's too bad for my first attempt at wood work?

I've had an absolute nightmare try to find the right sized pipe for the main barrel. I never thought 90mm pipe would be so difficult to get hold of. Fortunately some very helpful guys that were working on the water mains up the road from me very kindly gave me a spare cut off piece of pipe that they had no use for (cheers fellas).

  3. Hi guys, can anybody tell me please the dimensions of the toilet syphon on the back pack? I think I may have found a close match but need to know the height. Will post pictures if dimensions are correct.

    Cheers all

  4. Hi everyone, I have a question!

Does anybody know if the back pack kit from trooperbay is any good?

Thinking about getting one as it seems to have all the difficult to find parts included. Also don't want to part with £100 if its crap.

Or could someone point me in the right direction for getting decent parts.

    Many thanks

    Warren

  5. Hello everyone,

My names Warren, Im originally from Manchester but I have lived in Gosport near Portsmouth since 95.

I have always wanted to be a Sandtrooper from the very first time I saw Star Wars, A LONG TIME AGO......

And now, hopefully with your help I can make that dream a reality.

I have recently joined the UK Garrison Forum, and have found the people on there very friendly and helpful, but I have sand in my blood and wish to become a member of the MEPD.

I have already found a set of armor which I hope to be purchasing in the next few months, but any help, advise and pointers in the right direction with regard to ammo packs, pauldrons, and weathering and any other info I should know would be greatly received.

    Many Thanks

    Warren :td:
