    i was just watching ENN and it turns out it was Dave Prowse....he's trying to pin it on LFL though :blink:

    LOL. Yeah more like i hope this kinda stupidity doesnt make things harder for those of us trying to do the good things we do. Last thing we need is for the kids to be afraid and run away from vader at events,lol.

    There have been rumours flying around about this mysterious place in the Police Department.

    I think they call it a shower room and seriously I have no idea what it is and what it do. I was only told that all good soldiers will do their best to avoid that place. I heard so much horror stories that whenever discharged soldiers get thrown in there, they come out looking like a shadow of their former self. That really sent shivers down my spine thinking what that means.

    Any seniors care to share their stories about this place?

    For those that suffered the confines of said creepy place.....there is a stormtrooper support group with a rubber room and a mud/sand pit available to those whom have lost it completely,and would like to "regain" what they've lost,lol.

    They never said anything about back order. I called them at the beginning if may when I finally foun the order info. They told me they were scheduled to ship out within the next week. 2 months later half of the order arrived. The rest has not come yet.

    As scootch said....they are good for smaller packs. I put my radio and gordons syphon in them and it was way too small. It will work but if you are looking for a more accurate pack you may want to look at alternatives.

    FYI....the kids pack I built used the trays from park

    were any good alternatives ever found??

    35 grand ?? Thats chump change, this very same seller wants $80,000.00 for a crapy model that is is trying to pass off as an original Y wing

    seems he also has a "production used "pyrotechnics" Y-wing with replacement parts added.Says it comes with a hand written letter signed by one of the original model builders that worked on 'em.,LOL....

    So I was standing in front of my condo today, smokin a cigarrette, in front of my SUV when an idea popped into my head. So after some thought, I figured I'd post it up on here, and see what you guys thought...

    A lil background first...

    I am currently an Armed Protection Officer, private sector. I have a sand color '98 Ford Expedition.

    My idea is to turn my SUV into an MEPD patrol vehicle. Completely marked, with low pro LED (orange/white) light bars, the whole shebang. Essentially done just like one of our patrol vehicle, but marked for MEPD.

    So, what do ya think?

    Personally i think thats pretty cool,lol. A few months back ,i had been thinking on similar ideas . I was looking at a box truck for sale up the road from me.Its similar to the older box trucks that swat teams used. Only gripe is its current paint job(white w/green trim and lettering)yuck. It was owned by a football fan,lol.I dont have a pic of this exact truck but i have a pic of one of NYC's own....with a lil image alteration. mepd shield w/white MEPD logo sound good??.Just a thought,lol.

    looks great....the stormtroopers should have just carried that version (without the trigger) they couldnt hit anything anyway :)

    I'm thinking about changing out the fins .I used the remaining for sale sign plastic.It looks good but real flimsy at best.I'm gonna see about going to blas-tech for their t track when i get a chance.

    The Difference Between Resin And Hyperfirm DLT-19

    Ok so here are 2 of my DLT-19's. One is a resin cast item and the other is a modified Sci-Fire hyperfirm. The hyperfirm comes without the box, disk, t-tracks....etc...

    I take it, the resin one is quite heavy?. I never had seen one of those resin ones up close.

    I use Krylon satin, then dust it with a gunmetal grey color. Then I weather it via dry brushing / sponges.

    Hey i got a question on painting blasters. Has anyone here ever used the Krylon fusion paint with the textured finish??. I was thinking after seeing what it looks like that it might be a good one for e-11's. Some original sterlings have a rough/texture-like finish if i'm not mistaken???.I was thinking maybe testing this on one of my nerf dh-17 dart shooters

    I use Krylon Fusion gloss black ( 3 coats)followed by using krylon fusion silver or a chrome paint to dry brush the raised details,giving the blaster that well used look.As well i dry brush a little bit of the scope/scopes with a little bit of gold for a worn finish on any brass-like parts,etc.
