  1. I'm gonna look into this further. I know once in awhile they also sell their items on ......ebay (shudder)

Ok heres the skinny. Google is messing with them. Heres what they said:

Google just closed our account, because according to them, we are selling real guns. I have no clue how long it will take to work this out with what must obviously be untrained idiots manning the Google Censor department. We are working on this right now, unfortunately we are so busy, I am sure this will not be done until tomorrow.

In any case direct contact via email or phone is the way to go until the checkout setup issue is handled.

  2. Hey all, I wasnt sure where to post this, so here goes.

I was cruising the web last night and came across this website:

    http://www.keystonearsenal.com/

Heres a tid bit i found in their news page:(Note: Read the underlined parts)

New Guns: KAR works with several factories in an advisory and consult capacity, and have been doing so for years. A few weeks ago, we were paid a grand compliment, and our advice was sought out for new models to bring to market. KAR was sought out, because, as we were told: "We normally ask larger companies......[They].....are always wrong, however, everything you have told us over the years has been spot-on accurate. We think you understand the market better than the larger companies". Wow, quite a compliment, but we think so too. That being said, we are also working with the factory to procure the models to duplicate. This is what we are looking at right now: The MP-44, the M3 Greasegun, the BAR, and the M1 Carbine. When these are done we will be going after MG-34's...How would you like an All metal and wood MG-34 for under $550.00 bucks? We would too. So, these guns as well have been added to the production schedule. It may take a few years to get all these guns made, but we'll be fighting all the way.....These guns by the way, won't be limited quantity items. Once the molds are made, they will be produced until doomsday....Not just a 500 gun run, available for less than a year, but an unlimited run available forever.

  3. Ok it was a MG-42. Really hard to tell by the pic they gave and the news never gets it right normally

Had a closer look at this pic.Seems the "ammunition" is a couple of crimped blanks(look at front of the casings). This actually might be a display piece or a blank fire device, unless they disassembled it to confirm???.

  4. Oyyyy.....us too.....it doesnt stop

Boy oh boy, i know how y'all feel.My fiance, her son and i left @7:36pm to pick up a relative and our car died a half mile from the house <_< .We pushed it back all the while the snow started coming down(grrr). Now from what i hear we are getting 4 to 6 inches during the course of tonight..Oh well

  5. Here in North Central Illinois we got 20 inches from 3 pm last night to 5 am this morning...PLows have been out but I can't move my car as it is in 20 inches of frozen snow around it....Now we are going to be hit by wind chills of -20 to - 40 below zero.

Were you in the path of the storm?

    Diana (ShortTrooper)

Hmmm, i checked last at 2Ft.-3" and 1-1/2 inches of ice on top here <_< .(Pocono Mts.PA)

  6. Hi guys.. first off let me wish everyone a Happy 2011!

So does anyone have any Costume/Armor Goals this year?

2010 was a weird armor year for me.. While I trooped my fair share of events and

even added two new sets of armor ...a Phase One and Phase Two Clone armor to my collection (even got them both approved by the 501st.)

Sadly work kept me away from my armor over the last 3 months....and now that I have time again . I hope to get the energy and time to once again rock my Sandy. TIE, CT and TC once more...

Life don't you just love it?

Just one for this year, lol. (Non SW) 11th NY Fire Zouave for Manassas battlefield park this coming july, lol.(still working on funds for armor)

  7. I'm not sure I follow your meaning, drilling holes along the length of the barrel jacket?

I do believe Juan means that you should sand or grind down the T-Track that was already molded on the blaster, , Then drill the proper holes where those were, then add more T-track over those holes. There are plenty of pics of previous builds that show this around these boards.Just gotta find em',lol.I started out building on a hasbro, but goofed up the project badly resorting to building a pvc type blaster.I scavenged some of the small detail parts from my Hasbro blaster to do it,lol."Seek....and ye shall find",lol.
  8. That would be sweet bro....I'm really curious

I remember asking them(SDS) once about their blaster replicas. The contact said (quote) "We ship to canada"(unquote),LOL.I guess you'd need a contact/friend up there. But as i have seen the elephant,so-to-speak, i'm sticking with US based sources.
