I only need one reply, from one member.

And i know all 19 pauldrons, made it out in the world right.

    Peace out :) .

OOPS! I think that would be ME :D

Well, I'm at a loss for words with this pauldron. The pics will not do it justice. The best part for me is that I was able to get the rank/color I wanted. Thanks for getting me in at the LAST MINUTE! Now, I need to get it weathered.

I feel bad for those who missed out. Hopefully, another run will be possible in the future.

  2. Just found out about this at Rebel Scum:

    January 28, 2008

"New Agreements Begin This Month for Collectible Replica Clothing and Armor

Fans and collectors will find new lines of collectibles from Museum Replicas and their new licensing division Windlass Studios in 2008; it was announced today by Museum Replicas. Lucas Licensing’s STAR WARS replica clothing and armor licensee will assume the design and production of the high-end, collectible ensembles and full sets of the iconic armor including stormtrooper and bounty hunter armor. . . . ."

  3. Well, I finally took the plunge a couple months ago and purchased my first (and hopefully more to come) set of armor. I'm not sure of the make. It used to belong to TK4510. Perhaps, he can shed some light regarding that. By the way, I love the weathering job you gave it Mike!

I still have a couple parts to work on. I'll be replacing the pauldron; and I also have a pack I picked up from Seth. Just wanted to share some pics of me test fitting the armor.

Like I said, I still have a bit more to work on. Hopefully I'll be able to join your ranks some time soon!

  4. good work fella.

i truly love the TK's in action shot. AWSOME

what did you use for stands? did you use dragon figures?

    I'm jealous!

    Thanks for the kind words!

Simon, I used basic doll stands that attach to the figure's waists. I also replaced the marmit bodies with Dragon figures.

Now, I'm planning on getting a full size set of armor to troop in. I'm looking forward to joining the ranks soon.

Judging from the pic below, I don't think I made a good impression at the last trooping event I attended.

So, yeah. I think I'll remember to bring my armor next time around.

  5. Whoa! Thanks Kyuzo! Totally caught off guard! Thanks for the headsup!

Well, I'm definitely gonna get to work on a real set of armor! Especially, with what I've seen here.

    Good Hunting!

Hi its kyuzo from the SS boards here!

I posted your pics on the Off-topic thread and attributed them as belonging to another Sideshow fan. If you have access you can read all the positive feedback on your work. Roy Starkiller is another Sideshow poster who's also MEPD.

Now you gotta work on getting some real armor!

  6. Hey All:

Been around here for the past couple weeks. Really like what I see in this FoRuM

Well, I just wanted to share some pics of my favorite trooper in the Imperial military that I've posted on other boards. Now, I dedicate them to all you hard working, sunbaked TD's out there! Hope you enjoy them!

  7. Hello All:

I've been lurking here for the past couple of weeks. The SANDTROOPER is my favorite out of all the Imperial troops.

I have about 7 sets of armor, but they're all in 1/6 scale. Here are couple samples:

Hopefully, I'll have a 1/1 scale set of Sandtrooper armor to troop in!
