Are there any runs going on right now? I'm a new recruit and wouldn't mind showing one off.

Looking excellent. I to had problems with doing the weathering on mine. I started off the same way you have but was not happy with the outcome at all. It had an almost cartoonish look to it. I scraped it and started all over again. Thank goodness I was using latex paint.
After consulting with a couple Sandies in my local garrison, I went a completly different application method. And it worked really well for me. I put a dab of paint on a platter, took a small makeup sponge /wedge, dabbed into the paint then onto apiece of card board to get the excess off them dabbed small area on the armour. I waited a count of 10 seconds then dabbed with a very damp piece of paper towel. Then I repeated several times. I used burnt umber primarily with ocasional spots of black

Rivet detail as in cod, ammo pack on knee and on side? Got them. I will look into getting a 3 button plate too

I have since submitted for basic 501st aproval. I have had to redo shoulder straps as everything was sitting too low and had to rotate shoulder bells to the front more. I unfortunately do not have pics of changes uploaded yet.
I am also working on a backpack. When that is complete, I will consider applying for PO. Could any veterans give a few pointers on anything they see here that should be changed for deployment? Thanks all

Ive documented via pics pretty much the whole build. Unfortunately I can't seem to be able to upload any more pics. The suit is done and now awaiting basic aproval. I've had to readjust my shoulder straps to get everything higher on my chest. I had too much black showing up top.
I had special permission to join my local 501st brothers as there only a couple in this area, to go onstage with Weird Al Yancovic last night. What a truly amazing experience. I cannot wait to attend further functions.
Here is a video of the part we did. And yes that was me Al put his head on.

I know many people make thier forearms clamshell style like the calves. Mine are. Had to. Otherwise the wrist opening would have been large enough to swallow a small car

Awesome. Thank you sooooooo much. Time to go sort and pick up some goodies, get building, and get dirty!

Where would one find the templates for the t21 of pandatrooper's?

Clean? Rub with dry sand. That will clean it.

Ive noticed this too. I'm currently adding shims to mine. The CRL states preference of no to 1/2" gap.
