I don't know how much customization they'll allow on a case by case basis, but here are some ideas:
1. "77" for numbers/"TD-XXXXX" for name
2. Last two of your TD#/actual last name
3. First two of your TD#/"TD-XXXXX" for name

My buddy got one of these. It is VERY lightweight, as in lighter than my Hyperfirm DLT19. If you're on a budget it's not a bad option, but it's not the sharpest pulls you'll see.

Do you guys come down towards Murrieta/Temecula way for any events? Just curious since I'm basically on the border of Riverside and San Diego counties.

Too much sky and not enough armours :woot:
Just kidding Love this one guys!!!
I kind of like that the palm trees are back there. Desertscape!

@ Scribbler... any chance I can get a higher-res version of this shot??

Would you mind me adding these to my FB CVII folder??

Will be there! TD on Saturday and possibly Sunday.

Congrats on deployment Marcus. Looks great. Now, we have some movement 2 clicks west of the cantina. Confirmed with data and thermal imaging. Intel says it might be one of the droids were looking for. We need your squad to suit up and check it out. Be careful, this droid is a runner and armed only with his mouth. Report any abnormal findings.....that is all TD-2311...clck-shht!!!!
Roger, TD2311 enroute.

Nicely done! You guys play a hockey match after???

TD 2311 checking in, disturbance at Legoland resolved. All secure.
Thanks to all for the welcome. Did my first troop yesterday at Legoland. Was a long nine hour troop. I'm happy to report nothing major broke. Had some small issues with my amplifier and mic, but other than that I was good to go. Learned a lot right off the bat. See some of you at Celebration!!
Looking forward to representing MEPD in the future.

Thanks to all!! It has been an adventure fur sure. I'm not exactly what you'd call a handyman so there was some challenges a long the way. Really want to thank our Commanding Officer, Dirty Boy. He helped through the entire backpack build. Appreciate your patience! For those of you out here, West of the Dune Sea.... If you know Gabe Flores, he was instrumental in helping get my armor done.
Confirming my Call Sign as TD-2311.
*****....receiving a call....disturbance at Legoland CA.... Officer Enroute!!!!******

Hi Marcus,
Thanks for the application to join the ranks!
I'm reviewing your application now and will get back to you soon.
Stand by, trooper...
Roger that. Thank you.

Keep it up! You're getting there. You're a braver man than I going for that T21 build. I don't have the skills for that by any stretch of the imagination.
I quote Dirty Harry.... "A man has got to know his limitations".
Keep the photos coming!

VERY nice rig, Brother! Good luck and see you in the Precinct soon!
*Curious about the electrical tape in the left mic tip area though.
No reason for it...just a stray piece I didn't notice until I posted the pictures. I was fiddling with the bucket trying get my EAS installed. Must've just stuck to it somewhere along the line. It's gone now.
-
Looks Great Marcus On the left mike tip, is that just a stray piece of electrical tape, or is it cracked ??
Thanks! Yes, it was a stray piece of electrical tape... Didn't even notice it until I started posting the pictures.

There are many things I need to tweak, but I need an official run down from the experts so I can fix all issues. Full resolution photos are HERE. I missed the forearms with the brown weathering and I didn't even notice the piece of electrical tape near my mic tip until I started posting the pictures. Those have been corrected.

I got my pack straps attached to the top of the frame, but I'd like to get some feedback on where most people attach the straps towards to the bottom. I know its probably personal preference, but I'd still like some ideas, photos, lessons learned, etc.

Question........ wouldn't this be fairly simple to vacu-form?? Does anyone within the Department have any abilities to vacu-form or know someone who does??

Thought it was a wretched hive?????????

I just looked at that Bluetooth speaker, above, and you don't even need your phone because it has a mini-card in it that you can load the "music" to. Only $14 on Amazon right now, as well.
Really?? I didn't even look at it that close. Just set it up real quick on my lunch break. I'll have to check that out when I get home.

Here's what I'm going with for now. Small Bluetooth speaker and my old iphone 4:
