I actually started costuming with the 501st back in 2000-01 time frame as TK, but after 9/11 and deploying to Kuwait/Iraq, getting out of the USMC, having a son and trying to find a job on the outside, I had to hang up my armor so I could get my civilian life going.

I've actually been a military reenactor since I was 15 and have put together impressions for American Civil War Union/Confederate, Imperial Prussian Infantry as well as WW2 German infantry. So I guess you can say I've been "playing dress up" in one form or another for a long time.

In 2014, a friend got me to do a Lonestarr costume so I could roll out with him as Barf and Dark Helmet from Spaceballs for Wondercon. I really enjoy group cosplays and I even got my son involved. Some of you saw us at WC and SDCC as Spaceballs and Super Troopers. It was a good time and decided to get back into costuming (or Cosplay as it's now more universally known).

As life long Star Wars fan, I had to get back into the 501st. I put my Imperial Officer impression together, but I I knew that I wanted to get my TD going.

If you look at my Facebook page, you will see that we are HEAVILY involved with my son's sports. We are football and rugby fanatics and we coach/team mom/board member for almost 8 months of the year.

We also love Disney stuff! Love to hit the park as much as we can. Sometimes we go vintage style for fun
