  1. Thank you Vince, High praise indeed from a SWAT officer I have the luxury of two TD helmets, this is the one with 4 teeth for my MEPD officer application. I went freestyle with this bucket so i know what you mean about the heavy weathering, i had fun with it and love the way it looks. If i go for SWAT i have the Davin Felth helmet which will be weathered much lighter for screen accuracy.
  2. TM has worked tirelessly in his research and producing incredibly accurate armor that can be trooped in and is indeed a pleasure to work with, i love his armor, his standards, his commitment to the hobby we all love so much and his integrity! Oh and what Smally said, his after sales advise and service is fantastic! Paul also helps many many people who do not buy his armor or any of his other products!
  3. Ok Brother, size 10 are perfect for the job and screen accurate
  4. These are mine, they are not difficult to sew and will never let you down! You don't want your arms falling off during a troop now do you!
  5. I would definitely sew them Cornell, they will take a lot of pressure during troops! Are your snaps size 10?
  6. Two for the droids who would later cross a bridge!
  7. Very effective and natural looking, looking forward to seeing the next passes
  8. I have started with my Sandy/Earth tones following my oily layers, please let me know what you think and thank you for looking
  9. Thanks for the kind words Brother Sandy tones and a bit of real sand to follow
  10. Looks fantastic Christopher All the best with your weathering, i am 3 quarters done with mine I have a TM Sandy too Brother
  11. TM dropped my helmets off this weekend I plan to use my "Move Along" helmet for 501st and MEPD approval, this will allow me to take my time on my "Look Sir Droids" helmet when i eventually go for SWAT. Thank you for looking
  12. The oily base has been applied to the Thighs and Shins, the Sandy/Earth tones will now be applied. Thank you for looking
  13. Original strapping gives you great movement and is well worth the effort Cornell
  14. Take your time Cornell, you will feel happier with your results and it will save you time in the end. Make sure you have lots of magnets, i did as Sean said and used a fair bit of E6000 (Maybe a little too much) on my strips. I found the residue quite easy to remove before the E6000 set.
  15. Thanks for the input and advise Michael I am applying the oily base to all the armour primarily as i believe through research, engine oil was a major component in the early scenes of "Look Sir Droids". I have created a couple of warm sandy/earth tones which i will apply once the oily base is completed, hopefully with all the gentle passes i have applied already with the sand and earth tones to follow the organic/natural look i am striving for will be achieved. Once again i really appreciate your time and top advice Brother
  16. I would like to say a huge thank you to TrooperMaster for a top weathering tip, this has really added to the organic oily effect i'm aiming for. Newspaper! Thank you for looking
