  1. Thanks Guys! So first off, to address your concerns for the backpack. Yes I realize this pack is super inaccurate, you can say so without hurting my feelings. I bought this used off of another 501st member with the plan of using it as a temporary pack for submission pics and potentially damaging troops. The goal was to eventually get a Dirtyboy, but a couple of financial issues popped up and the money i was saving for his pack ended up being used on a plane ticket home :( So, don't worry. He will be replaced!

Baron, thank you for the detail ( and the message! ) I will work on those issues. The belt I never realized I was wearing low, that is an easy fix since I don't have it riveted in, I have a nice snug velcro rig in the straps that holds it extremely tight around my torso. I was just stupid and placing it too low ^_^

As for the shoulder pouch, I was aiming for Docking Bay 94v2 (Tuck and Roll) but he is one of the backpack-less, so i wasn't sure how that would work. And yeaaaaaaaaaah, i've been meaning to get the nice soft hand guards. Need to get around to that one of these days.

These pictures are a little out of date, since taking them I have fixed the strapping issue I was having with the left thigh and the left side shoulder bell (which I hadn't realized had come loose during the pictures). I have also modified the trim of the chest plate a little. Out of everything though, the thing I think needs the most work is the backpack. I bought this used from another member, and it isn't as accurate as I would like :(

If you continue to scroll through though you will see the fixed up version.

  3. Hi everyone, sorry for my spotty reply times. Phone died on me and ATT is sending me a new one, so i'm stuck using my work computer for now.

    International pricing is:

    $3.42 USD for each patch

$3.59 USD for 1st Class international mailing + Mailing certificate (This is for up to 4 patches, anything more will cost extra).

EXAMPLE: 2 patches would be $10.43 USD

I currently have 8 patches I can part with, the rest are all claimed. If you are interested in a patch or two, send me a message and i'll PM you the paypal address. That way we won't have more people trying to pay me than I have patches for :P

Sandtrooper: I'm glad you like them! I had a really good time designing these and getting them made, and i appreciate everyone who backed me in this effort. There is no way I would have been able to afford this on my own, so I truly appreciate your trust and support.

SID: If by fixes you mean patches, then yups! I can definitely send you some. If by fixes you mean changes to be made then nopes, these are all printed and in hand already, no changes will be made to them.

  4. For anyone who ordered a patch from me, they were all mailed out yesterday! So watch your mailboxes and they should be arriving sometime soon. For international people, it might take awhile so please be patient and if it doesn't show up by this time next month, let me know!

  5. Update: I haven't tried trimming the return edges yet. Life has been busy at work. But here are some up-to-date images of my build so far. These were taken at work on Halloween.

Things I know I need to fix:

    * Shoulder Bells need to be snapped to the shoulder straps. Current velcro keeps ripping off.

    * Inner-Arm strap from upper-arm to fore arm needs to be run between them. As of right now they are both held in place with individual strapping/padding.

    * Need to find a pair of the latex handguards. The abs ones are too stiff for my taste.

  6. Hello Everyone!

I am working on my first piece of plastic spaceman armor. I've done the chest and back plates before having made a hard armor gunner, but I haven't had to work on an Ab & Kidney/Butt plates yet. After trimming out my three plates I did a test fitting and discovered this gap and issue. I was wondering what the common solution would be to my problems.

Purple area: Side seams do not line up at all and don't even come close to closing. Should I attempt the make the ab & kidney sides parallel and then fill the gap with a white piece of abs plastic that i have?

Red/Green Areas: I am taller than the average stormie which means my ab plate doesn't fit underneath of my chest armor AND accurately cover the crotch region. Are there any tips or tutorials somewhere on how to "lengthen" the Ab plate so that it fits taller people better?

Thank you in advance and I look forward to hearing your advice!
