  1. I'm pretty sure you are right. I don't see the ribs either; it looks like a smooth part. That is just the closest one I have seen yet, which did end up being made by Armitage Shanks. I'm speculating that the one we are looking for is a subtle variation from around the same time as that part.
  2. Pooper update: The proud owner of this piece of porcelain told me that "I've looked and the blue thing says: Armitage Shanks Freeflow, England - no date anywhere around."
  3. Right piece but wrong shape. It's almost certainly not going to be something that is sold new. Wow, I feel a bit guilty. I actually have people half way around the world taking photographs of the inside of their cans for us. Thanks for the photo but.... ...these aren't the toilets we're looking for. Move along. 100% agreed.
  4. 1536, now that is one FINE Replica vintage Armitage Shanks Cistern Syphon for imperial issue back packs!!! Seriously though, looks great. Did you re-do a mold for that or is it a one-off? What exactly do you mean? Do you mean you found the part, or a supplier of new parts? The part from the movies is most likely discontinued. Also, it doesn't matter if they ship to the U.S. if you find it, I am sure we can figure out a way to get it over here.
  5. Nice bucket, I've never seen all the angles like that on it.
  6. No doubt. I can help out if needed. I still have a good amount of silicone over here just dying to become john scrap. That one I posted the picture of is available, but I don't know that it is worth grabbing since it doesn't seem to be an exact match. I'm trying to contact the owner of that dirty old pot to see if there is any manufacturer, date or serial number on it or anything. It's not easy to convince people to go digging around in old toilets. Thanks over in the UK, and don't forget to check your own bathroom thrones.
  7. Actually, I've been doing some research on this part and I think that the part was likely made by or at least included in Armitage Shanks toilets. Armitage Shanks is also thought to be the supplier of lightsaber pommels, so it would make sense that the parts guys picked up a few other items from the same supplier. Here is a picture of a vintage Armitage Shank Cistern with the internals that may or may not have come from the same time. Not quite it(?), but at least **** close... Here is the Wikipedia info on them. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Armitage_Shanks I also sent out an email to a vintage toilet place in the UK trying to get some info. No reply yet. I never imagined that I would be hunting vintage toilet parts.
  8. The great part is that if anyone came up with one of these, it would be naturally weathered... Ok, I'll stop.
  9. Wow, I want this book. I also want a huge fro to be more screen accurate.
  10. I submitted a few pics to him this morning, but of course there are so many pack variations. He also asked for a brief write up for each of the bonus cards.
  11. Start posting want ads for "Old Toilet Parts" in the paper over there. Lol. I'm gonna be in London soon, but only for a few days so I don't know that I will make it over to Elstree.
  12. Thanks Mike. If you ever do come out here, let me know. I'd love to take some pictures with you.
  13. After a good amount of research and patience, I think I am ready. Thanks to all of you for the valuable knowledge you have shared with me.
  14. Plus I guess if you are ever really in a bind... lol
  15. Looking really good. I could be wrong but this bucket could be another candidate for a slight eye trim too.
  16. Sweet bucket. Looking forward to seeing the trim update.
  17. Your armor looks awesome!!! Great job bro.
  18. Just a few more details to finish up and I should be ready to roll.
