Hi. Relative newbie on here after spending past couple of months scouring the forums and over on UKG. Just placed an order with RS for my first ever armour, the mighty Sandtrooper of course!!
I remember reading early on somewhere about a certain heavy duty storage unit some guys were using to store and move their armour and backpacks in, but for the life of me I can't seem to come across the thread in the forums again. Was hoping to buy something ready for when my kit arrives in around 4 weeks time. Seem to remember it saying that it had an 80 or 100 gallon capacity or something. Looked like a big heavy duty tool box for want of a better description? Or if anybody can recommend something else I can store the complete armour, helmet and backpack in, that would be great. Many thanks :-)

Need the main man there!! :-)

Great video. I just ordered my first ever armour last night (Sandtrooper obviously!) and watching this makes me want to order some more already, ha ha!! :-)
Good job.

I agree with you Brandon. But I really hope they go back to real men in real armour instead of CG for Stormtroopers. Don't get me wrong, the Clone Troopers looked slick and polished and were a great advert CG characters, but nothing beats the old fashioned way of doing it for realism. Same with highly skilled mask makers and make-up artists over CG creatures. Can you imagine Chewbacca done in CG?? Gives me shivers just thinking about it!! ;-)

Hi there, me again!!
Just to let you all know I've just placed an order for my first ever armour from the boys at RS and I should have it in around 4 weeks time, I can't wait! I've opted to get everything I need from them in one go.
Hoping for a quick, painless clearance from UKG so I can get out trooping with my fellow Dirty Boys!!

Awesome looking and sounding blaster. I have private messages you. Elegance is local to me and I'm hoping to meet up with him soon to take a close up look at his. I know he absolutely loves his!! :-)

Fairly new on here but that is one awesome looking and sounding weapon. Private message has been sent :-)

Ha ha Elegance, I didn't think the original message had sent ;-)
I tend to agree Inglorious Trooper, the Internet was indeed created for the MEPD site !! :-)
Just need to hear back again from RS, I'm raring to go even more since being a visitor at Legoland at the weekend. Like I said to Elegance elsewhere, was very jealous of you all mingling with the public :-)

Hi, I'm Craig from near Fareham, Hampshire, England. I've been on the UK Garrison forums past 2-3 months getting a load of info and introducing myself to people. Met up with a great local guy Elegance, plus made a few new online friends after going to Legoland, Windsor May 4th, including David Marsden. I've decided my first build will be a Sandtrooper and have already Ben in contact back and forth with RS. Just waiting to hear back for a final price so I can get my armour on it's way. I've been reading a lot on the forums here past 6-8 weeks and there's some great info and a load of great people and really can't wait to get trooping once cleared. Was going to wait until I had at least ordered my armour till I signed on here properly as I felt a bit of a fraud by my local Sandie Elegance told me to sign up straight away as there's a great bunch of guys on here who will help me out no matter what. Anyway, here I am. Cheers.
