  1. Hi again Sandies. Okay, my first ever armour is on order from RS and I'm getting everything from them, including backpack E-11, paldron etc and should have it in around 3 weeks. My name is down on TD 8266's list for his next batch of awesome T-21's in June. Since I first registered on UKG at the end of March I think I've read every thread on MEPD and Sandie related ones on UKG. I went To Legoland for the weekend which was awesome but sadly can't make it up to Comic Con. I've met up with local Sandie Elegance a couple of times for Sandie chats which was great. Basically, I'm waiting for my armour now and can't wait to start the clearance process. I've become obsessed with scanning for new threads on here , ha ha!! Please help me, I need something to do to pass away the next 3 weeks. I think I have developed OCD, ha ha. Cheers Dirty Boys Craig
  2. Sorry, only just seen this thread. Sorry to hear your news, hope you get well soon bro :-) All the best Craig
  3. Thanks for posting. Some nice shots :-)
  4. Excellent job Dave. I had the pleasure of seeing this weapon up close at the weekend when I went to visit Neil as he only lives a short drive from me. I'm pretty new to this and my first Sandie armour will be with me in around 4 weeks time. I have put myself on TD 8266 's list for his new batch of T-21's and think I may be messaging you regarding weathering it for me :-) Take it easy and keep up the good work Craig
  5. Hi Donna. Pretty new myself. Very excited about getting my first armour soon :-) All the best Craig
  6. Congratulations troopers, excellent work !! :-)
  7. Oops , sorry for the multiple replies , phone froze and didn't think it was uploading!!
  8. Thanks Juan for all that info. Funny enough I went round to see my local Sandtrooper buddy I met through the forums at the weekend, and he played me that radio loop thing and it sounds great. Like u say, adds nice realism in the background. I will keep you all updated once I get my armour. All the best Craig
  9. Nice one Joe. Thanks buddy :-)
  10. Cheers Smally. No buddy, these were all Saturday photos :-)
  11. I got them to build it for me Smally. Being my first ever build I wanted to get it up and running quickly to be honest. Once I get my Sandie cleared and I'm out and about, I intend to start another longer, slower build by myself. I've loved reading the threads on self builds and I'm confident that after seeing all the parts of my RS one in the flesh and assembled, I'll feel happier about what I''m doing. Using it as guide if u like. Even though there's loads of great photos on these forums that way of doing it makes me feel happier, ha ha!! Then on to self build weapons etc and the all important weathering :-) Cheers Craig
  12. Okay. Here are my photos from Legoland featuring Sandies as promised :-)
  13. Looking forward to it already boys, ha ha!! :-)
  14. Definitely Smally. Not posted a photo on here yet as fairly new. Think I need to wait until I'm home from work and do it from the PC. Hopefully just a case of copy and paste onto this thread? Cheers Craig
  15. Great work at that weekend boys, I was there with my family for my daughter's 9th birthday weekend and you all looked great. Had some great photos with my local Sandie buddy Elegance and a few other of you boys. My first ever armour will be with me from the boys at RS in around 4 weeks and can't wait to get cleared and trooping. Looking forward on trooping at Legoland next year instead of watching :-)
  16. I know exactly how you feel Rory, I was the same ages months ago. But spent lots of evenings on these forums and the UK Garrison ones, chatting to people and then hooking up with some local troopers to see what was what. Like I said on previous post, I placed an order for my very first armour the other night and should have it in 4 weeks. Can't wait!! :-)
  17. Great letter Smally. Let's make sure it does the trick :-)
  18. Like the extra Velcro idea Trooper 1. And good to know B & Q sell the smaller one over here . Good to know there are working options out there that you trooping guys are using and doing the job. Decisions, decisions ..... :-)
  19. Thanks for all the info boys, appreciate it :-)
  20. Hi. Relative newbie on here after spending past couple of months scouring the forums and over on UKG. Just placed an order with RS for my first ever armour, the mighty Sandtrooper of course!! I remember reading early on somewhere about a certain heavy duty storage unit some guys were using to store and move their armour and backpacks in, but for the life of me I can't seem to come across the thread in the forums again. Was hoping to buy something ready for when my kit arrives in around 4 weeks time. Seem to remember it saying that it had an 80 or 100 gallon capacity or something. Looked like a big heavy duty tool box for want of a better description? Or if anybody can recommend something else I can store the complete armour, helmet and backpack in, that would be great. Many thanks :-) Craig
