  1. If there's any source for that Blaster Rifle beside Doopydoo, that

also ships to europe, it would be cool to know.

I'm now emailing since about 2 or 3 weeks and they just do not react.

I mean okay business busy sometimes but why say "contact us for waiting list"

and leave people standing in the rain. A sorry no or whatever that would do, but this?

I'm also way sick of it like inglorious trooper (well he got it know I know..) before.

  2. hey michael,

    TM,awsome choice,well done!

if your having problems with getting hold of a DLT-19,dont worry,

doopy doos do a great cast for £140!(there in the uk)

if you want one and have problems with shipping it just pm me,

you can have it sent to me and il send it your way at no extra cost apart from shipping!

ive done it already for a fellow sandy in the U.S.A. and only took 4 days for him to receive it!:td:

@Marcus: Yeah, since the decision is made and I was able to place the order myself in a to me unexpected

easy way, i feel very good and reliefed. Been a bit afraid of technobabble dealing but I worked on

it hard, made an extra file that I keep updated with crl-parts for min. requirements and other things

and what's the main thought Even a costtracking to keep an oveview. I will PM You.

    Thanks brothers! :td:

  3. I'm going since 3 years to the EFF in Arcen in Holland it's a nice event ... This year you can go with Patric so :P

Cool! Yeah I've seen a lot of good pics from patric. Amazing.

So I guess sooner or later we're gona meet eachother personally.

I live about 20 minutes away from him and already had the pleasure

    to see all his stuff.

  4. ..because in Star Wars Universe there are no glasses! :woot:

    Posted Image

A pic of my 2nd event as an apprentice while not yet approved, able to join with a lent costume crewman, on Star Was EP I 3D Premiere, where we

    had a great photographer.

Well meanwhile daylenses are in my equipment :pirate::pinch:

On that evening in January 2012 we had about -15 degrees. Yeah this was fun

  5. hey michael,

look forward to meeting you at ce II bro!

can i ask what make of armour youve gone for?

Yeah me too! I have already a booked room and the 3days pass ticket.

I've seen on legion-board that many UK guys are coming and from many

other countries. I hope I'll make it with the - maybe basic only yet - TD for CE II.

But as it's my first armor it is hard to predict how far and what I can get.

I went for TM by recommendation of a Sandy-m8. Been lucky to get into run.

For luck I started research already about 3 months ago so I didn't fail

in the dealing by mail as its for me quite new ground. Think I'll try to make

Cantina Captain in the end but it seems difficult with the DLT's as a european.

@Rico: heard a lot about crazy big belgium props recently :woot::thumbsup:

Don't know if You know our guys and ladies. Maybe I'll go on one of the

EFF. Don't know definately yet. Seen a lot good pics of it.

  6. Thought I watch this though I'm not so far that it's up to do.

As I'm a scalemodeller with acrylic paints but with much smaller scale

like 1/72 this is very interesting chapter. I'd thought about a mix of washing for the

going in or deep areas first and little drypaint for the edges with basic dirt and shades, but

this is exciting. Opens new grounds.

    Fantastic!

  7. Sooo great : - )

Dirt sounds fine! As a young always came home from sandbox full with mud.

Some first pieces of all the parts have already arrived. And I almost can't wait until

I hold my first own armor in my hands and then give it a personal touch with the weathering.

Dunno when. Count with 4 to 5 months until basic's finished, what would make it to CE II,

where I guess that some of You might be there too. But step by step. If not , it's no drama,

my first dress took way longer.

    Sandies are cool! :teehee: yey!

  8. Thanks all, that's a warm welcome  and even by a neighbour , cheers eyh!

    Very fine!

Yeah sooner or later there will be questions and I hope sooner or later trooping :td:

When I see my officer costume, it's still improving. A hobby that needs maintaining.

Before I met the legion I was always only dreaming of this. Now living it. Just fantastic.

I'm looking forward to the future.

  9. Hi there,

newly registered here recently. So maybe a short introducing and the why's.

Soon 42 years old. Living in the germanspeaking part of my country though it is dialect.

Found out about 501st Legion and Garrison existing over a year ago so I'm well a rookie.

Got approval for my first costume last year after a long terming project - for special reasons -

with a black line officer wich cane pretty good, getting more and more not only CRL accurate.

Now after some months of studdies , asking, writing - wich might not stop - I finally could

bring the project to run, after placing my first ever order for an armor after questioning and

get clear about most uncertainties despite having pals to help and advice. Well soon I found

out its not the easiest to do. But I hope I'm on a good line.

I hope i'll make it here to a deployment.

    So this in a short

    Good time furthermore all
