  1. I have mixed feelings.
I am disappointed by the way you Bluey brought this thing on a personal level and with very little respect for Brad which also didn't wait a sec to review your application.
As above mentioned being involved in the creation of the program doesn't allow you to get approved straight away.
Brad in my personal opinion is been very light-handed.
Your application lacks of full body pics from every side pics of the right details and comparisons with the screen grabs.
Nobody saw your PO application or your upgrade process to SWAT so nobody know your armour and the application intent is to review it tip to toe.

I am also surprised by the lack of backups from the other members of the Command Staff for Brad but from Justus.

Welcome back to the MEPD and to the Command staff Bluey

  2. Greetings, I am in the process of assembling the backpack number four and seek information if someone has the measurements of the piece that is pointed out in the picture. I want to see if that works or not.

I would be very grateful for the help

The reference picture that you're using has some mistakes.
As Nick mentioned already the radar dish points outwards.
The top piece that comes from the thermal detonator of the TKs has to be shortened and that one too points outwards
The radio needs a different dial

Also the radio needs to be placed a bit slanted clockwise.
The picture says that in few shots there are between 4 and 6 cylinders but ain't cylinders it's a corrugated that you can find at your home depot.
And again in few shots the top cap of the mortar tube is missing.
So is up to you build it following one or another ref pic.
Looking forward to start seeing some progresses.
  3. Well said Ricky

-If you feel "rising the ladder" is unfair then you may have to boycott the "SWAT! Are we accurate enough" thread

Who are you to say that? I am all about screen accuracy and I like people aiming for that.

I'd like remind you that we're a costume club after all. And yes to me close enough is enough to get the SWAT approval.

We're not Gods we have families, we have lifes, jobs if you wanna spend more time to get your amour perfect then go for it. Nobody is gonna stop you.

Actually I'll be there to congratulate you.
But I am sorry to remind you that you won't be able due the lack of good pics from every angle even for your "the most
    accurate amour ever seen".

I like rise the bars as long it doesn't become the game "spot the error" for everyone.

Keep this in mind for the next candidates and let the DOs do their job

  4. Each approval is judged harder than the last

Which makes the SWAT process a bit unfair for the new ones that wanna rise that ladder

The newest issue is baptys which have also been agreed on and boots are a must if we're doing blasters

So if I am running for SWAT with another character which has a DLT19 or T-21 or MG-15 should I show my Bapty anyway? And where is the screen accuracy here?

I must say I'm a little surprised that some of the ppl pushing for SWAT to be more challenging/accurate are the same that are disagreeing with GML decisions and saying near enough is good enough
    It's one or the other

I am not disagreeing with anyone here and I think the the Police Officer and SWAT processes should be closed to the DO and armourers only.
