If you have FISD access, check this thread:
He is currently SOLD OUT, but the thread says he's taking pre-orders for September.
Did you need everything in the strapping kit?

Phew! Thanks!

I got one of Dirty Boy's Move Along packs (it's awesome - thanks), but when it arrived it came partially disassembled for shipping. I mounted the bee stinger pretty much straight down (flush against the bottom of the tray), but now it looks like it should be at an angle outward.
Does this matter for SWAT? Or is it just a matter of preference?
Thanks!

Excellent - put me down for a road block.

What about the "Move Along" Captain? How about the LSD sergeant (same pack)?

Mike over at TrooperBay can do pretty much any decal for you...

PayPal payment sent for 2 - thanks!

Ahhhh... thanks.
My spastic eyes jumped right over it.

Ummm... price is in the first post?
You sure?
And do we need to add our names to an ORDER list, or are you taking our names from the INTEREST list?
So confused...

Look at us. We're junkies.

Meaning the left is worn on the right and vice versa, or the wrong edge of each hand guard is pointing the wrong way (finger side to wrists, wrist side to fingers)?

With a heat gun or blow dryer or...?

I have the thermal detonator panel from an old FX kit, but it's just a bit wrong on the diameter for the mortar tube.
I figure that if I can heat it up enough, I could bend form it around the tube, and reshape it accordingly.
Has anyone tried this? Does anyone know if it can be heated and adjusted safely?
Another question would be, if this doesn't work, is anyone making control panels that will fit the mortar tubes (in this case one of DirtyBoy's)?
Thanks!

Hey all -
I just got one of DirtyBoy's AWESOME "Move Along" packs. Because I'm all thumbs with most props, I had him assemble it (mostly).
Since it's 90% assembled, I don't have the same access to both sides of the frame to do the 'drill thru' method of mounting the mortar tube. I was hoping some of you might have some additional suggestions for attaching it...
My hope is to eventually get SWAT status, so whatever method I choose, it's gotta fit those standards.
Help!
Thnx,
- Andy

The last pair of TKBoots I got seemed larger than the sizing, but the previous pair seemed smaller than the sizing. Of course, the previous pair was bought over 10 years back, so I have no doubt that the supplier changed...
In any case, currently, I think they probably run somewhere between true-to-size and slightly large.
Hope that doesn't muddy the water too much.

Thanks for clarifying - looking forward to the run.

Just to confirm here... the leather pouches are for the hip/belt on most builds, correct? My understanding is that the shoulder pouch is canvas on most builds. I know this is debatable, but isn't it generally the case that the MP38/40 hip pouches are leather and the shoulder pouch is canvas?

Size/dimenisons of the mortar tube control panel?
in Field Backpack

Heya folks - Just putting the finishing touches on my mortar tube for my pack. I have two control panels - trying to decide between the two. What are the dimensions supposed to be for the panel? Anyone have a great reference shot? The Hi-res ones from the packs thread are not there... thanks!
