  1. The first couple are Seth. From "Tatooine or Bust" on are pics of a FX trooper...I think some of those are TD-2272 (Charles)!!!
  2. I have a "blue hue" AP suit (I think). I didn't notice until a thread appeared about the AP suits having blue, pink etc hues. Once it's weathered you can't really tell though IMO. Good luck with your build!
  3. Nice, if only I could understand the language! Thanks for sharing, too cool
  4. I used gloss white on my lid. I didn't clear coat it either...
  5. S1P, Your BF on TDH looks spectacular! Great job .
  6. Someone on MEPD has their shoulder pouch mounted with a set of snaps (one on the back of the pouch and the other glued on the top corner of their chest armor). Maybe that trooper will see this thread and provide some pics http://www.tk1536.com/accessories.html http://www.thedentedhelmet.com/davin/repli...ther-canvas.htm http://www.thedentedhelmet.com/davin/replica_pouches.htm You can make a loop of black elastic to sling over one shoulder (diagonally) and attach a pouch to it with heavy duty velcro or snaps to wear a pouch without a pack too. But...no pack, no pouch if you want to be movie accurate!
  7. Looking good so far, I agree with SB. Add fuller's earth and it will look superb
  8. Great interview! Mike's website and the MEPD insired me from the "beginning" to go forward with making my costume. Well deserved!
  9. I own an AP. I'm 5' 11' and 190 lbs. I'm probably very close to the max on this one . I didn't have to shim anything though. The only place I noticed a sizing issue is the width of my shoulders. The shoulder bells seem a little tight and a bit of black shows through between my shoulder bells and the chest/back armor. No worries though because my pauldron and pouch cover those areas fairly well. If I were to be a TK, it wouldn't look too good IMO.
  10. You got me good. I jumped on MEPD after a few margueritas and an hour after your post. I almost cried , he, he, he!
  11. I wondered that too . It's 2AM here. Seth lives 30 minutes south of my house. It's officially April 1st! Good one Seth, you got me good...
  12. Seth, your killing me! I'm very sad to see you leaving. I finally achieved 501st and MEPD status and you decide to depart. ****! I want to at least troop once with you before you depart bro. LMK if you have time to do one last troop and I'll be sure to make it. (Done crying )...congrats on the Tron helmet!
  13. ...TD-1536 may be able to assist you!
  14. 6 because it was one of the few available with the combo 521, which is my b-day (May 21st).
  15. Looking great . One question, are your cheese grater hand plates backwards?
  16. I have one for my Lewis. I'm looking into getting one for my armor. They are the best in terms of durability
  17. You could always cut the torso or leg area down by 5" and reconnect it...he,he, he
  18. My sitharmor replica stollaweins are at work in a storage tub. I can get a measurement to you Friday if that is the type of pouch you are considering. Someone may be able to help you by then....
