  1. @Smally, That is what my mother says too. Just not in my nature. She yells at me for that too. @Jay, Yes I know I just got deployed. But the build didn't happen overnight, so I got excited. Got worried that I didn't see anything from command on what I needed to change or if it was good. My bad. Just a friendly bump on the post. Changed it. Sorry. You ever a kid waiting for your Red Rider BB Gun? I keep telling everyone that is what I want for Christmas. Everyday my kids ask about it. OK, I will sit on my hands and stop talking.....
  2. Bump... :whistling: :whistling: :whistling: :whistling: :whistling:
  3. Jay, Thanks for the idea about the pauldron. I have plenty of velcro on it and could loosen it up. I have a short neck and have trouble seeing through the bucket. I was trying to keep the pauldron and armor low. Sometimes I can only see through the teeth! I will also have her do the pictures in the sun. I agree about looking too clean in those photos. I think the close ups in earlier pages shows it is dirty, but want my trading cards and profile to look good. Will take the suggestion sir. Thank you.
  4. Anthony, And our local economy loves it when people gamble....don't do it. JK. Let me know if you Come to town. Have some TDs and a BBQ ready brother, Vegas style.....
  5. Alex, Loved the details on the right side crack. Daniel is right about the weathering. The mics are black outside and the inside walls. The very back of the inside circle is white. I think that was decided awhile back on another thread by Juan. Your new pics look great. I would suggest making the right mic crooked though. Check out Juan or my post under SWAT and you will see what I mean. Since you are doing this specific trooper, it has already had a lot of discussion and details worked out. But I think it is clear that those mic details could not be sen on the screen. Only in analyzing the Move Along bucket for auction. Not a required thing, but a cool detail. Keep the great pics coming. Excited to see the base coat weathering too.
  6. He is just playing politics for the new owners. My CO made some great 'Mickey ears' out of plastic. They go on the top of your bucket and the Star Wars cog, looks awesome. Trying to get a picture. That was funny.
  7. Al, What a great build. Nice job and some great details. You should make deployment easy. Which trooper for SWAT are you going for? Brow on bucket is very low, but could be accurate for that trooper. Also not very familiar with the pack, so my opinions would not be accurate. Where is the bee stinger? I am sending you a PM on your armor that might help with next level. Juan is the one to listen to if there is any critiques, since he is the DO. Don't make any adjustments until you hear from him. Wouldn't want you to work on things that are not needed. Seriously a great build brother. Hope to see you approved soon. Good luck and have some fun making the publics day.
  8. You know, I have to say I am thankful for this group. This brotherhood is awesome. American or not, this group crosses all lines and I appreciate you all. Have a great day, wherever you are.
  9. Thanks Anthony. Since I am so close, maybe we can do a troop in the future. Wouldn't mind driving back to Cali. Miss it. Not much going on in my local garrison.
  10. Just waiting to see what Juan says....But thank you Joe, Daniel and Nick. I appreciate the words.
  11. OK, had my wife, who is a photographer take my final shots: Still waiting for command staff's opinion gentlemen...
  12. Joe, That was awesome (last post). Had to read it to the family and everyone laughed. I think your details were great too. You brought up things I can change now to help in the future. Very insightful. Thank you. Looked great. I always get asked why I'm dirty too. It is great that Lorenzo got it. That is what it is all about.
  13. Awesome job, that is some serious talent. Nice detailed build too. Thanks for sharing.
  14. Felix, Nice job and great looking build. Love the strapping system too. Keep the pictures coming so we can see your progress. Anything on the pack yet?
  15. Nice build brother. Great job. Getting excited to see you deployed.
  16. OK, here are the corrected legs and bucket as well as an overall of equipment. Off to my local garrison meeting and to get some action shots and profiles for the MEPD. I await Juan now...Thank you for all the support and ideas. I really think the legs turned out much better with the 2cm strips (Thank you for the push Jay, you were right).
  17. Son and I recorded it and watched it today. The sad part was my son who said, "Dad, did you see that TDs Snipper knee falling off and the two guys in back (Rubbies) who were not wearing neck seals and had on zip up sweaters for underarmor? They made you guys look bad". Even my non-501st kid saw it. Wow, just wow. Producer should have known better. Great job by our true brothers though. They looked great.
  18. I knew my collection would be worth it. Nice share brother.
  19. Painting it Disney???? I hope not.
  20. 2cm strips done. Sanding and paint done. Now just re-weather. Maybe completed pictures and some nice action shots tomorrow??? I hate watching paint dry boring... I have to admit this was a great mod. They look awesome. But that is just my opinion. We will see what you guys think. Same bat channel kids. Stay tuned.
  21. @ Pete, THANK YOU! Made my day. And the system obviously did edit poor Santa. Sad, just sad. @ Anthony, no YOU rock my fellow SWAT wannabe brother. No really, you do.... @ Jay, We good on the pauldron now sir? Need to make sure that little tidbit is done, so I can focus on the BIG ISSUE. I should have purchased yours in the beginning and not paid 3Xs the amount to fix this one. Live and learn troops (take my advice and just stick to Jay's). I am going to bed...Update tomorrow. I think I am getting high from bondo fumes.
  22. Well, Phase 1 complete, now I just wait to dry before I can start sanding and shapping the bondo to blend in. Like a kid at Christmas, come on rainbow wheel (that's a Mac computer joke for anyone who doesn't know). I don't think anybody can doubt my resolve now...
