Has anyone attempted to use one of the ICOMM with a wireless set up? I had my ICOMM hooked to my Aker and it worked great, however I really wanted to go with a wireless so I didnt have to worry about running the wire fromthe headset to the amp.. Well I got one of the memorex wireless set ups and I can get it to work, but 1) I have to use the PTT 2) it has a constant feedback type noise.. I was curious if anyone had ran into this problem before successfully pulling this off and if so what you did you do to fix it..

No problems here Juan, I totally understand about the being too busy... Its not a big rush, I know that you will get to it when you can...

Thanks Mike... The funny thing is that my armor really is dirtier in person than in the pics.. I didnt go crazy with it, but its darker... Not sure if its the lighting, or what...

OK maybe Im being overly dramatic and its the alcohol talking..I just got home from playing a baseball game, decided that I need 2 drink to Havana Kirbys instead of eating dinner.. So maybe my comments should be taken with a grain of salt...

I know its been a while since I have posted anything, its been one crazy summer... I havent been sitting on my bottum, twittling my thumbs... After several months of summer house projects that seen to equal, finsh one thing 4 more replace that one.. I have finally gotten around to my final work to hopefully get my deployment.. I will be meeting Trooper1 on Monday so we will se, should be sending the phots out tomorrow, hopefully we dont need to do too much "extra work" I can dress pose snap the pics and all will be right.. Then again that has murphys law written all over it too... anyways one of the things I want to do was make a mod on the Cushman T21 I bought from jay a while back.. The black stock and handles looked OK but I did want to try and get it a little more screen acurate so after a serious number of trial runs I have managed to come up with this Faux grain on my all plasitc T21.. Its a combination of of a base layer of acrilic paint, then I use Gel wood stain, topped with a regular stain, (apparently gel stain isnt as popular as it once was and there are only a few colors available at the hardware stores, most were discontinued..... (plan on trying this on some doors around the house with my graining tool) sadly the graining tool didnt work on this area, too compact, and not flat... so after several tries with just a simple foam brush until it said, yeah this might work I went with it.. I know its not needed for deployment but Im usually better at the armorments so I kinda try and step those up a notch when I am working on em' why not play to my strengths... Just looking for critism, good bad or ugly... I had to take several different pictures, some of the pics showed up really really light, guess it might have been the gloss from the stain, not sure..

That is located in the 501st access only section, would probably explain the error message...

Ive never heard of an APB,BOLO for LEOs before...

The flap studs are Tandy Leather -Sam Browne rivets that I had left over from a Jedi utility belt I made a while back....

Well I got tired of running around with just the 1 small spanish pouch and missed out on my chances till the fall on the nice ones going on here.. So I finally decided to break out the scrap leather and attempt my own.. I know that they need some refinement but I was pretty happy with the rush job I put on them to get em ready in time for the Special Olypmic troop we did this past weekend... Nearly put together.. just needed to add the flaps.. added the flaps then Trooper1 pointed out that the flaps were a little pointy... OOOPS a little trim on the flaps, several good throws against the brick wall, drags down the drive way, and punts into the lava rock, added some sand and this is what I ended up with... Think I will be using the lava rock for weathering from now on... Really like the good grooves it makes, only draw back is wiping the red dust off....

Placed my order today.. FOrgot all about him... I remembered his thread after I looked at it.. from back in the day before I decided to go TD>>

I hope that I am posting this up in the correct place.... For those that use an amp in the chest or other place backpack, pouch,etc.(i have an aker) what type of wireless mic set up do you guys use... I have a wired one at the moment.. I was unable to get it all hooked up properly my first 2 troops but did get it going this weekend at my 3rd troop... However, using the wired was a real pain, so I started thinking about trying the wireless,and my search so far is not going very well.. I keep getting running into wireless blue tooth mics for the cell or singing mics.. any help would be appreciated.. Thanks

Cool...I do have a photobook accoount thats what I use when I post up pics here and on my garrison.. I think i have photoshop on the desktop.. THought I had it on this laptop .. but apparently I dont... Of course its a cheap Acer my wife had to have for school.. but after she got it she realized it sucked.. so I use it while Im upstairs now.... guess Ill get on the desktop and see what I have Ill give the banner makers a check also.. Get some more things done so I can take some better pics for that as well as shooting for officer deployment... Thanks gang....

I have been meaning to ask this for a while silly question or not... How do you guys make your signature art? Do you do them with word or do you have to have someone do it ?

I love my baseball caps... I would absolutely love to see something like this available... One of the best looking wearable ideas I have seen on here!!!!!!!!!!!!

TK's are on the way... Looks like UPS says they are scheduled to arrive next Tuesday.. Couple of days late for my troop but OH well... Least I will have them for the next one... Guess I can hope they show a little early on Friday that would allow me to give em a quick weathering for Saturday morning...

Just got the confirmation that my size 11's are in so placed the order.... I dont have any hopes that they will be here prior to my next troop next weekend.. So looks like one more troop in the Dead-Krayt scented boots..... keeping them in a sealed container with several boxes of amr and hammer baking soda... hoping that will freshen em up enough to troop then

I guess I was a little vague... Does anyone use anything for drawing up templates for projects..Be it a blaster, pouches anything.. or do you use Word, or old school it with paper and pencil.... Im just trying to see if there is anything out there that anyone uses more frequently so the next time I get a little inspiration to work on something I was wantting to give a shot at trying it using a program... Ive attempted doing this before on word but it isnt all that smooth espeicially when goign from simple straight lines to somethings thats rounded it goes down hill pretty fast.... Hope that clears it up a bit...

I was curious as to what programs if any that any of you use to draw up things templates, blueprints, etc. with... Or do you just use something like MS Word and "free-hand" it.....

Guess our name could be the 10.5's instead of the 501st..... Coincidence or conspiracy???????
