really? mine came in under a week! as for the wire I had some 18 guage rebar wire laying around. i wrapped it around a 3/8ths inch rod I had and stretched it a tad. i used a small drill bit and drilled into the outside horizontal tube and the outside pointy part on the speaker resin cover. added some epoxy on the end of the wire and stuck it in the holes.

Well, every time I was deployed (in real life) to the middle-east desert, I was issued new desert gear, including desert boots & desert uniforms. So thats possible. As for them being dirty so quickly, if they landed durning a sand storm, I think they would probably be about that dirty. I was blasted a few times in sand storms & I was pretty sandy. I don't think that would prevent them from being "specialists" of a certain terrain though. They did bring back packs that we never saw on Endor or Hoth, and they carried some pretty heavy fire power. Just my thoughts.

r there any other dessert planets? i mean a lot of military's just don't hand out new gear cause your called up to go on a new mission

ya if the imperials had more of an influence on the planet the Hut's wouldn't have so much power one would think.
plus I mean they were out "combing the dessert" I would kill for a giant comb in kit instead of a blaster

not much but it's a start. kinda wish i would have made the barrel longer, BUT that can be done later or on another one. just got too excited and glued it all together this evening (in between children fighting, cooking dinner, etc etc etc) hehehe
tomorrow, the primer... maybe more?
