Was this AT AT ever likely to be built anyway?

The cost of materials alone would be huge without the technical knowledge needed to make a non functioning 1:1 replica.

If this project could actually happen then I might make a fully operational imperial shuttle.

If it is just the helmet then that is not too bad, but it still means that it cannot be built to match other screen used helmets other tjan the one which it is a direct copy from.

I will have to watch for any developments.

I have read a post on The Replica Prop Forum which suggests that this armour will only be available completed and not as a kit.

Does anyone know if this is the case or just a rumor?

I ordered it at the end of January this year.

I bought it to go with my full Snowtrooper kit which I am still waiting for, but I don't really expect it until around May so no problem with the wait so far.

I bought the complete E11 kit off E-bay and it came 2 days later.

Fastest service I have ever had from E-bay.

I will be ordering the DLT19 from them when the time and cash comes to start my sandy.

I am part of the way through building one of these and to give it more durability I am pinning it as well as using glue.

The barrel looks like it is cast round a PVC or similar plastic pipe which may give it more durability.

I am very new to this forum and very new to the costuming hobby.

I am seriously thinking about a sandy after MC delivers my snowtrooper and a sandtrooper cast from an original suit would be the perfect way to start a build.

I am watching this thread with interest.
