  1. ive used fullers earth weathering method with loooaaads of hairsray, always wanted to spray on a matt coat but was worried it might change the look,bj did you have any probs with the look afterwards?

I wouldn't say it was shiny, but I am yet to stand next to another TD to compare. Just definitely don't use a gloss finish paint for sure. :)
  2. I use the sand/hairspray weathering method, and was rained on recently while trooping. I don't believe anything washed off that I can tell. Of course I used a lot of hair spray, & a clear coat on top of that, to keep it solid.

  3. I've found the most challenging part of shortening armor (I'm short too) is in the thighs. Some people like to just hack around the bottom part, around the knees, and be done with it. I think this takes away from the overall look of what is supposed to be there. I like to keep the all the detail there & just trim the upper part instead. You just have to be careful to keep them in the right proportions around the top of your leg.

For the lower legs, I trimmed just a bit off around the ankles. They didn't need much. With most of the accurate sized aromr makes, you won't have to really trim much, but if you want to be able to walk around comfortably at all, you'll need at least some trimming.

  4. I was just about to complain about yet another horrible legion forum change, when I noticed that I actually like this! :) So far so good! Why can't bikerscout.net be down for like 10 minutes, then pop back up looking awesome like this? LOL! Looks great guys!
