Been working on this since the spring and finally wrapped it up.....Just in time for Dragon*Con. I have documented the entire thing and will be posting to my web site soon. Big Thanks to PandaTrooper - Your tutorial was the main inspiration and guide for this project.
At some point I will acquire some pouches and a backpack for "Heavy Weapons Trooper" readiness.
FYI for anyone interested; I have actually built 2 of these T21's and will complete the paint on the second one in the next couple of weeks. It is almost identical with a few minor differences. It will be for sale once done.

Not sure if this has been shared before (I dont recall seeing it myself) but this is a great little page.
here is a sample

Materials
3/4 “ inch thick wood (I used pine shelving)for the main body / receiver
3/8” inch thick wood for the stock (I couldn’t find any, so I used ¼”)
3.5” diameter PVC pipe for the main barrel (I used 3” “Cell core” ABS pipe, which has an outer diameter of approx 3.5”)
3.5” connector (you will cut rings from this)
2.5” diameter PVC pipe for the barrel tip (I couldn’t find any locally, so I took some 3” PVC and cut it down to 2 7/8” diameter)
4” corrugated drain tubing for the barrel (you can use D profile adhesive rubber trim for car doors for more accuracy)
Sheet styrene for details (I used 2mm and 1.5mm a lot)
1.25” piping (small section for the sight)
2” PVC piping (for the chamber or whatever you call it that holds the bullets in the main body / receiver )
I have been using Panda Troopers brilliant build as a guide and I am to the finishing stages, wrapping up the barrel.
Just thought I would share this with everyone else in case they had any trouble finding material. You can get 2 1/2" electrical PVC conduit (grey stuff) at places like lowes that has an outside diameter of 2 7/8" and fits perfect inside the the 3" Cell core pipe Panda Trooper uses. It comes in 10ft sections for about 10 bux (US)....well worth if you ask me.
Ok back to bat cave!!

Welcome Brad!
I'm guessing you know that the HWT are mostly talked about on the FISD... but, that being the case, it's good to have you here and we have a good amount of knowledge that will be beneficial for a HWT build; like you said, especially about the packs!
Plus, we want you here because it's harder to convert you to a full-on TD if you're on other forums.
yeah, Ive looked around a little there but knew I could find vast amounts of info over here. The long term plan is end up with a full dirty TD. It's a process.
Knowledge is power mate.
PS I love this this web site, the graphic novel theme is brilliant. Who done this?

Easy all,
I am currently a TK with plans to put together mods for HWT over the next 12 months. No plans to to go full Sandtrooper just yet (not until i get another set of armor anyway LOL)
I will be poking around the backpack sections and the BFG builds.
take it easy.

As I mentioned before thanks to PandaTrooper for the guidelines on this. Mine is already getting beaten up, just after a few troops lol.
