there would be deserts on other planets and places with similar temperatures so they probs get shipped about allot or they have seen alot of action (unlike the tk on the dethstar and some of the star destroyers)

i don't think so because there are empieral drop ships, they probably have been in dessert places before and maybe have the dubacks in a parts of the star destroyers but as we know the empier had many planets so there would be some sort of imperial presence every where but i think there would have been an outpost or 2 and they sent 4 reinforcements (paldrenles troopers) to help search tatowine
