  1. This is my first attempt at an E-11 Blaster using a Kenner, a kit from Doopydoos, and some imagination. Hopefully not too horrible.
  2. Soooo, First thing is to get my gear together and get 501st approved (overall and garrison), once I do that I can see the 501st only pages, then get my gear more together and apply for deployment (then I can get the TD/MEPD access), then if I can get my gear together UBERACCURATE, I can go for MEPD SWAT......OR.....if I choose to persue non-canon I can go MEPD Patrols? That pretty much cover it?
  3. Where do you get the big seed trays from?
  4. Sweet! It ought to be as close to the original E-11 as you can get.
  5. That looks just awesome, can't wait to see it. I wish there were more project like that out there.
  6. There's a guy on e-bay (I know, trying to stop)that has these little voice amps (small talk ST2) for 9.95 (free shipping). I got one and it's pretty cool. The seller is "devinseven", worth a look anyways.
  7. That is just too cool! Very creative, mark of a good sandtrooper!
  8. Hopefully this will work, pretty good detailed photos of the mg34. Going to borrow my friends and see if I can do an autocad drawing of it. http://www.militaryphotos.net/forums/showthread.php?142814-MG.34-Disassembly-(not-56k-friendly)
  9. They are running a site on e-bay (I know everybody says stay away from e-bay). Just ordered a conversion kit for a kenner.
  10. I'm going to ask a question here about armor (there's a boat load of info on this subject, but.....). The question is about the finish of the armor. If you basically want the deployed, grungy look, would it be better to paint the armor with a flat white? Or to go with the gloss white and weather over that? Since I'm not in the 501st yet, should I leave my armor pristine for my application photos of just go for the "deployed look" out of the box? On another note, who are the folks doing IMPS the relentless. Not sure if there armor is correct (still learning) but it looks pretty cool (reminds me of the Army) LOL.
  11. Hey all, Joe here from Ohio. Working on getting my armor together and all the bells and whistles. Been a fan of the sandtrooper since 77' when I first saw one. now getting a chance to live the dream.
