If you really want to see the extremes of "too much black showing behind the knees" , did out (or dig up, if you've buried it in the yard) your copy of the HOLIDAY SPECIAL and check out the trooper that smashes Lumpy's computer. Now he's lanky!

Unless you're going ROTJ-TK or SE-TD, cut the butt off. I'd leave the front alone though regardless of what kit in my opinion.

Not "qualified" , but I would think that because all of the 'trooper actors were so thin anyway, that everything was glued. I doesn't look like any of the suits had any velcro at all except *maybe* the tops of the shins because you couldn't get your feet through them sealed. My opinions.

Hey guys! Did the "Support Trooper", the one with no pack, have a smaller pouch on his left hip or just two MP-40 pouches? For some reason, I seem to remember seeing it somewhere but I could be mistaken. Thanks! Tony

In ANH, when the Troopers are storming docking bay 94, the last trooper on the right has no pack or pauldron but does have the diamond knee, no shoulder straps, an MG-34 and is dirty. Oh, and he has pouches on both thighs. I haven't seen anybody doing this version in person but I'd like to. Is it because it's not acceptable?
