  1. Would be cool if you were the first who went for total screen and "off screen" accuracy, I think you should go for the look of the guy in the middle, that would be awesome Sorry, I am taking this too far, I will only be serious from now on
  2. I've had the same problem, made an order and paid in full with no item delivered. Sent numerous mails and got an answer after about 5 mails saying that they've had some problems with the site but that they promised to take care of my order. Then nothing. Still haven't received anything, and I think I placed my order in August last year. Would warn everyone here from buying from them since they obviously don't deliver and don't care that much about answering e-mails either.
  3. Ah, you're right of course Rolf. Didn't think of those pics. Maybe it was just in that short frame I saw that they didn't use it. I think we all should get haircuts like that btw, I think they look awesome
  4. I came across this documentary today, and maybe it's old news but I caught a glimpse of a frame where you can see that the TD's wore no neckseal. Guess the desert were too hot for the poor actors http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m8pTJ4SkNlE&feature=player_embedded#
  5. Is TE2-Tony a member here on MEPD? I've had some trouble finding his stuff, but I would love to own one of his helmets.
  6. Well, the topic says it all really - which helmet would you consider to be the most ANH accurate? I got a SDS myself but are looking for a replacement as it just doesn't feel quite up to the challenge. From what I've seen, the TE2 lids looks most accurate, would anyone have an opinion on this matter?
  7. I think the one he is selling that cheap is an older, thinner version. But it could be useful for those low on doe.
  8. Anyone know if DoopyDoo's are still active? Have tried to reach them regarding their DLT-19 blaster with no success. Their blasters look rather nice. At least for us poor europeans who can't get hold of those sweet Hyperfirms. Anyone here who has bought from DoopyDoo? http://www.doopydoos.com/stormtroopersandtrooper-dlt-19-heavy-blaster-mk2-841-p.asp
  9. That would definately be a better option, but they don't ship those sweet hyperfirms overseas it seems. I am located in the northern wastes called Sweden. But I would so want one of those!
  10. Cool HerraPerunaPaa, may I ask where you found a conversion kit, or did you mold the additional pieces yourself?
  11. It's a replica cast in one piece so it has never been in any working order, but as you say Dirty Boy - an officer wouldn't know that. Has anyone of you had problems with the law while trooping? I guess it can be a bit intimidating having too realistic pieces, although we all strive for accuracy. Just a noob question, but I'm new here: did they use both MG-34 and DLT-19 in the movie, or just DLT-19 (that is obviously based on the MG-34)?
  12. Hello there fellow troopers, I found this aluminum MG-34 for sale at a forum, would it be considered canon to use as a Sandtrooper or does it need to be modified? It weighs 6-7 kilos so I'm not sure if it would be too heavy for trooping, what do you think? The seller is asking approx. 450 dollars for it. Any thoughts on it?
  13. Thank you all, looking forward to be part of this community!
  14. Hey guys (and gals?), I think I'm getting close to completing my TD armor build. Have been making it on my kitchen floor in my small apartment, but hey, it seems to work. Wish I had a garage sometimes though I have been weathering it the Gundamzeppelin-way. His tutorial I found on this site was really helpful, so my hat of for you! Will be adding more pics but here are the first. Does it look decent enough to be keeping the TD spirit alive?
