  1. Hi Guys...

Today i finished my E-11 Beauty. It is a full aluminium replica with movable parts and i also can deassemble it. I

    - just had to fit the t-tracks in there

    - got a WW II Scope and had to do model and fill and prime it a bit

    - i shot a real eagle counter in the bay i mounted today

    - did some weathering...so that´s it!

It is an amazing blaster. Full aluminium and functional folding stock, removable magazine..etc. More pics follow.

    Cheers, Mike :td:

  2. Hey guys.. just wanted to let you know, i didn´t give up. Just took my time and i am working on my Backpack-Upgrade right now. Some parts will be replaced by aluminum, the radio will be a new one and it will get a total update. I also got a beautiful full aluminium-blaster, a real scope and a hengstler counter. Pics follow. I think i have 3, 4 weeks to go. Cheers, Mike :)

  3. Thanks, guys! I am working on my backpack right now. And i hope to get a Trooper 1-pauldron and a woodman Faceplate soon! My problem at the moment is the money. AARGH! But i will fix these things... The goal is right in front of me..and i won´t give up. ;)

I also decided to replace the whole plastic frame with a metallic one and the big tube on the right is going to be an aluminium one too.

    Cheers and stay tuned!

  4. Hey Guys, Saludos, Juan!

Thanks for all your critics. Honestly i am a little bit surprised and also disappointed, how much i obviously did wrong with my backpack. It was my first costume at that time and so i obviously din´t spent enough time for research and reference-pics. So i got a lot of homework to do. It comes to the point, where I have to ask myself, if it´s worth to configure all these points on my pack (the material won´t get better), or should i start a new one without "mistakes" from zero and get the better and accurate faceplate.? I´ll have to sleep a night or two over it and let you know, what i am going to do. Unfortunately i can´t afford all these things right now, cause I am still in education till october. What´s for sure is a Trooper1 Pauldron (soon) and a Blastech-Full Aluminium E-11 Blaster with moveable parts (when they´re ready in about 2 months)...

    but man.. that´s S.W.A.T.

    Best Regards,

    Mike

    I hope, i dind´t forget anything important..? We´ll see :-)

For those, who are interested in the gear:

It´s a 3mm HIPS Movie FX Armour (from Germany), a 1.5mm PT-Helmet, painted extra to fit to the armour. Mic-Tips by VAJ from Germany, Sandtrooper-Tubestripes from TK-4510. Boots are TK-Boots, Handguards are from Sonnenschein. Backpack is by Crashmann, syphon by Gordon , Large Radio Dial by Vodoo. My Blaster is a full resin-blaster with real aluminium and weapon parts (full aluminium blaster comming soon ;)). The armour is weathered with black and dark brown water-based (airbrush)acrylics, rough cleaning-sponges, towels and shoe polish!

As you can see, i spent hours and days to go right afer the "move along" trooper. Some might call me crazy, but YES..i cut a real crack in the right tube, to get the original look. It is glued with fiberglass from the inside to get the crack fixed. It´s a very massive armour (some like it, some don´t) It weighs (all in all) about 15 Kilos = 30 pounds. After 2 Days of troopin´in it, you really know, what you did the last days ;)

Please don´t wonder about my handguards on the trooping-pics. I got my hardplastic-guards with me as backup and used it the second day, cause the latexguards had to be glued again.

So let´s see, what happens :)

    Cheers, Mike

    "move along...move along"...

  7. It was absolutely great man! So many TDs.. very impressive, when a group of us went on Patrol! Great feeling! And they let me be the "chief".. cause i got only the E-11.. Even I was the smallest Trooper ;) My Mate Val luckily got his Backpack ready (one day before) and so we really had 2 good but **** HOT times in Legoland. One of the italians collapsed in his Tiefigher-costume. I hope his is fine again :)

    move along...move along!...

  8. try to work with acrylic-bases colors as already said. Try one piece (forearm) and choose 2 colurs. Start with one of them, wipe away 90% again. Then do the same with the next colour again. And don´t overdo it. As the others already said: Even if you don´t like the result, nothing is broken, you can (usually) clean and wipe it away ageain.
