best thing to do is match with your armor weathering once you get it. using a natural sand and getting into the cracks looks really cool.
Thats kinda what I was thinking and I live at the beach so getting real sand is easy

So another question I have is that I have a TE helmet,ROTJ style painted as ANH, will that work?

Now I know everyone has their personal preference when it come to armor makers, but I'm trying to decide between TE, TE2 and TM. Thoughts on pros and cons to these, if any...

Hmmm...pouches, canvas straps, orange pauldron, ANH E-11 stuff like that. I have a C3 9.0 Vader I just got on a trade, just waiting to make sure he got my rifle before I part with it. Also how do I get the strips on the syphon??

with the ribs on the trays it should give you just enough room to slide the tape under what you have fastened down.

Looks great man...don't forget to add the black tape to the lower box. I think your doing awesome. I usually use wire ties to attach the tube
Yeah I just have to figure out how to get the strips on there since everything is pretty much attached

Ok guys I got some work done on my pack this week. Got the parts from Dirtyboy. Hoping I'm doing ok for my first pack build, already got a few dings here and there so still got a bit to do. Any good ideas on how the mortar tube attachs? It may not meet deployment but will still get the job done I think. I'm all about input

Yes, you need to cut down the length of the "legs" so that the syphon / cistern clears it.
Kinda what I figured just wanted to make sure before I started cutting. Also do I need to remove the middle bar or can I leave it? Heres the pic anyways.

So i got my hands on a metal fram, problem i ran into is the syphon doesn't clear the bottom lip. do people usually cut these down or some how raise the seed trays?

Dirtyboy turned me onto it, just a silver leafing pen. I used a few coats of flat black krylon fusion for base and a krylon silver leafing pen.

This might be covered already, but I was wondering if there is a in helmet radio/mic that fits all into the helmet with out wearing a headset with the static burst?
