Haha, I hear ya! I'm usually that way too, but I was recently using the sewing machine to put some patches on my garrison jacket, so I'm kinda in the zone.
I picked up the material last night and I'm going to pull an all night sewing session tonight. I'll post some pix as soon as I finish up. Thanks again for all of the feedback!
I had just done a mod the night before to give my arms a little breathing room. I didn't fasten them tight enough for the photoshoot since I wasn't used to them. Here is another pic I just took.
Here is the pic of my ammo cover and disc on my DLT-19 as well.
Hey Nol,
How are you? I do have a dirtied up set of trapezoid hand plates I can switch out with the cheese graters. Here they are. Let me know if you need me to wear them with the rest of the armor.

Hey guys, I'm requesting deployment. Here goes.
Thanks in advance for all of your feedback!
Thanks for the feedback! I'll have to get mine sewn into the suit at some point! That's an awesome idea and I'm sure that it makes things a lot easier. It's really cool to hear about and see how everyone does things differently!
I've been looking in all the resource threads and can't seem to find any pics of these wires. I remember seeing some awesome close up shots and now can't find them again no matter where I look. Could someone post some pics of their own setup, if possible? I would greatly appreciate it. I'm heading down to star wars weekends next week and want to be fully canon when I "represent". lol.
Thanks for the replies guys. It finally looks like this thread is sticking. Do you know of any good pictures that I could reference? I remember seeing some, but I can't seem to find them.
Not sure if I have to wrap wire around the t-tracks on a dlt-19 to make it movie accurate. I've been trying to see if these were installed on the weapons they used in the movie but can't tell. Need some guidance. Thanks.
I actually have bed foam pieces glued inside the thigh armor to make it fit snug and not shimmy around as I walk. It really makes the whole suit look sharper as you move in it. As such, the thigh pieces hug my legs and stay up as I get dressed.
